You have got to do it more often to get the hang of it and get more confidence I think. The first time I used a paddock stand was with a Yamaha MT-01. It might have scared me in the beginning but then it was a piece of cake with this and the other motorcycles although they were all lighter than the MT-01 (wet weight 265kg). And I did it with no help each day after coming from work. It helps confidence if you leave the kick stand out. This is how I did it

Please have a look at an abba stand, got one for my zH2, wondered why the hell i didn't do it years ago, absolute game changer, so easy, and keeps the wheels completely clear for any maintenance etc you need to do.

My Mrs would’ve wrapped that paddock stand around my head, 👍👍👍👍👍 Brilliant video as always

I appreciate this video . Attempted this by myself the other day on my ZZR14 and almost dropped it twice . Ended up going in house and getting my son to help.

Great stuff. Must confess i stuggled to put larger bikes on the centre stand in the past. ( appreciate it was not a paddock stand). Lovely bikes.

I hated putting my zzr on the paddock stand. So I ended putting a center stand on it. So much better.

Love this bro! My wife will buy me a bike as soon as I get my license for bigger displacement.

New subscriber here, so a bit late to the party! To get my bike off the rear paddock stand (the scariest part in my opinion), I lift the stand up slightly at the rear & slide an old fence post under it. I then sit astride the bike & gently rock it forwards. Works every time 👍

From a fellow ZH2 owner you need some bobbins for the hook stand, but agreed always need to be very cautious my Mrs won't help me ever so over the years got use to my own technique, so far never had an issue, I line up the first hook then slide the other round while balancing the bike against me, practice makes perfect ;-)

First thing I did when I bought my ZZR was fit a Kawasaki main stand. Not too hard to fit and makes things so much easier. I just use paddock stand on front when needed.

Was the biggest waste of money that I spent. Put my zx14 on it once and put the stand into the garbage. I ended up with the ABBA superbike stand with the front tire lift bars. For a big bike this is an amazing stand. Can lift the bike (both wheels in the air if you want) by yourself with ease It isn't scary at all unlike the these terrible stands.

I have a Hyosung Bobber and centre stands are no good down to the fact my exhaust is level with the swing arm. I use a Hydraulic lift it slides under the bike and you strap it down and it functions like a carjack.

Shame you never covered the front paddock stand as that's the one that frightened me most.

I just sit on the bike backwards and put my foot and weight on the paddock stand. I dont have any bobbins.
