    Thanks Mr. Ray. I like that you give a very detailed review in all your videos like the one for the cdburnerxp, but I was disappointed in that software as it doesn’t burn a bootable dvd. I’ve tried different burning softwares and have wasted too many blank dvds. The burns will not play back on my media players. I’m using Wonderfox dvd ripper. I think it could be my pc’s optical drive that’s gone bad. I’m gonna get an external dvd burner and this free software , I hope it works with mp4, if that doesn’t work then I give up. BTY, I gave you a 👍🏼 but you deserve many more of them.

      It could be possible to do with Imgburn. Here is a video that will tell how to do it: th-cam.com/video/LGzlgIfEGOM/w-d-xo.html. Hopefully this will be helpful. Good luck.

    if i wanted to burn music cd for car, which one do i need to use: audio cd or mp3 disc?

    • @dennisray3235

      That depends. Will your car CD player, play MP3 format, most likely it will. Most car players do. In that case you probably want to burn a MP# disc, because it will hold a lot more songs on it, then a audio format CD would hold. Personally I would use the MP3 disc format just because you can have so many more music files on it. Take care.

    I have used this program successfully in the past to backup DVD videos but recently I could not get it to verify the files. The DVD would play on my computer using VLC Media Player but would not even be recoznized on my DVD player. I tried this with three different DVDs, none of which were copy protected. I ripped them with DVD Shrink. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? I am using version 17.2.

      That's hard to say without being there to see what's going on. You could try Ashampoo Burning Studio Free: Ashampoo Burning Studio Free How To Use It: th-cam.com/video/QjxARf399AY/w-d-xo.html or CDBurnerXP: How To Use CDBurnerXP: th-cam.com/video/C5PXO_dc_xY/w-d-xo.html. Another Ripper you could try is Handbrake: th-cam.com/video/xVWLg3mflLg/w-d-xo.html. Good luck. Sorry I can't be of more help.

      @@dennisray3235 Thanks for your response. As a last resort I tried using an external DVD drive to write the files to. This burned and verified successfully and played fine on my DVD player. I still don't understand why the internal drive would not verify but would play on computer but not player. Apparently no problem with DVD Shrink or Burnaware.

      Great! Glad it worked out for you. I used DVD Shrink in the past too and it really is a nice program. Have a good one.

    It won't load up a CUE file with a WAV data file.
    It asks for a BIN file which I don't have.

      Do you have any MP3 files? If you do, can you try it with them and see if you get the same thing?

      @@dennisray3235 Here's how I got around it.
      I just renamed the wav file as a bin file and it worked.

    People still use these?

    • @dennisray3235
      @dennisray3235  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yep. I bought a new car, and it has a CD player. It was one of the selling points. So, people still have CD players in their car and still have CD and DVD players in their home. Besides, CD and DVD are still a great way to back up your files.
