as far as i can tell there is only a way to make a data disc, not an actual dvd. i think the clue was there was no menu creation because when i burned dvd's on my old tower years ago it asked me what dvd menu i wanted to choose and then i added things like title and scene selection.. this thing is just turning my dvd into a usb basically

@@dennisray3235 yessir!! i'm burning with it now, i use a LITEON dvd burner from ebay and i have dvd-r discs and i have been burning a few dvd's with menus from the wmv file that i have of my animated movie :) 40 mins, 1 gigabyte.. sadly cuz of the music its not allowed on youtube.. seems like so far all i can get is PAL 4:3 but im trying to figure out how to get 16:9 and maybe if its better to use ntsc or pal..

Hi, I would like to burn a DVD (some videos I download from TH-cam). Ashampoo ask for a VOB file folder. How can I add the files? I will need to convert to VOB? How? Can you help me please. Thanks.
What format are the videos now? If they are MP4 you can just burn them using the data burn in Ashampoo instead of the DVD. Either that or do a search in TH-cam or the online for how to convert MP4 to VOB, however it's much easier just to burn your file as data. Let me know.
Why have just one speed option? I try to make a cd traxdata 52x speed and i have just 3 option write speed: 10x,24x,16x.

I've read I can record my movies from DVD tu USB, however it says tha need COPY then select the hard drive . BUT I can't, I can not see the optio to record in my Lap Top or Hard Drive, one ashampoo has read the DVD it says insert an empty DVD or CD, and not more.....
The only way to burn a DVD is to RIP a DVD with a third party app to a folder that will then contain the Video_TS files. Then use Ashampoo to burn a DVD from the Video_TS files. I hope I understand what you are asking and this helps you.

I like CDBurnerXP as well because it's smaller, but it depends what I want to do. Ashampoo is good for backup. If you are interested in CDBurnerXP see my video: How To Use CDBurnerXP

I downloaded the free version, “burnt” my data video disc but nowhere can I finalize the disc so I can’t even play it. Deleting free version now!

The free version I downloaded doesnt even have those other options listed like yours has.
So, I downloaded the latest version at: www.ashampoo.com/en-us/burning-studio-free@@DaveG425. Installed the dark version. Selected Burn Data, hit the Plus Sign to add my files, next windows, in Write Settings on the bottom I turned on the switch for the Finalize icon. Then Write CD. It did the Progress Writing, waited for it to Close the Session, and it gave the message "Data CD Recorded Successfully". The CD worked just fine. If you follow these steps, you shouldn't have a problem. Please let me know if this worked for you, OK? Good luck.
Thanks I will try that. For data disc with video should I use a blank cd or dvd? I tried with a blank dvd and it didn't work.

when i try to burn an mp4 movie i get...selected file does not contain video files...yet i can watch it on my PC, whats the problem?
When you try to burn an MP4 file using the movie selection Ashampoo looks for a VOB file, a different format than MP4. Try using the data selection to burn the MP4 to a disc.
I'm using Ashampoo 23, is there a way to sort the files in the folder like you would do with windows media player?

Hi there, I have Ashampoo Burning Studio Free in full version because I have an account . I wanted to ask if and how I can record 12 lines combined together in Audacity in 1 Audio track? In Audacity I put these files on stereo . These poems are read by a virtual teacher in Text-to-speech. If I recorded tracks, it would work out mono and I want to record on CD as a whole in one on stereo . I hope you understand what I mean.
If the 12 lines are already combined as one audio track, you shouldn't have any problem recording it to a CD. Was it exported as an MP3 file with Audacity? If it was saved as Audacity's own format Ashampoo would not be able to burn it. Maybe I really don't understand what you mean, but hopefully my answer helps you in some way. If not, can someone else out there answer Mr. Jastrzebski's question?
@@dennisray3235 Thank you for your answer. I have already dealt with recording a complex file from 12 pieces on Audacity and saved as one Mp3 file. It worked, although it came out a little too quiet after recording on CD. In Audacity I set each song with the "reinforce" effect. Well, but it's important that it was recorded. Next time I will set the voice differently.
my windows media player is gone completely goofy, i need something else to use to burn CDs, what spped do u burn your audio cd on ? and is this free or free for awhile then pay? thank u
This particular version is free forever, although, Ashampoo does have a premium version that is not free with more features. This free version has all the features I think most people would need in a burning program. The lower the burning speed the better the quality of the burn, so I will usually go with 4. i am using version 23 and can you tell me how i turn the setting on to verify a disc after its don please as can't seem to find how to find it-thanks bud
just watched the full video but for some reason when i do what you just did-the one option that is not there is the verify option-any idea why my version of 23 would not have it visable ?

Why is the program not friendly with text in an Audio CD, well I"m not really sure, but you could try CDBurnerXP and see if it works better for you. See: How To Use CDBurnerXP

@@kjvbible1611 In the selection window, you've added your songs, you try to select the song by holding the left button and drag the song where you want it and doesn't work? Hmmm! That's really odd, it should work, it works for me. I wish I could be there to see what's going on, because without seeing what's happening, I really can't answer your question. I'm sorry. @@dennisray3235 Greetings. I am a bit late i know, but i have the same problem. Even by ordering the song individually, it seems that the system doesn't recognize file names beyond "number 9", in the sense that a file named "...part 10" will be put beetween "part1" and "part 2", instead that after "part 9".

IT DOESNT SAVE. I spent 10 hours finding everything to burn. the first CD was great because it burned everything. when i went back the PROJECT WAS EMPTY. ALL THAT WORK. DOESNT SAVE DOESNT SAVE DOESNT SAVE. STAY AWAY
