This part of the episode never ceases to make me cry. Fred and Barney thought they failed Annie in trying to help her make it in the singing/entertainment business (not knowing who she really was until her true name was announced and she began singing onstage). Touched by their effort...Ann returns the favor by having them sing alongside her on stage.

I think it's funny that Pebble's was the first one who Discoverd Annie's true identity

@@kennywohl1061Yes and Wilma was blown away that Pebbles took to her new Babysitter so quickly. She also was a great friend to Tina Turner after she left Ike. She, Rod Stewart, The Stones, David Bowie, and Olivia Newton-John were angels to Tina Turner. Olivia's former manager took her on in 1980 and five years later she has one of the biggest comebacks at The Grammys. The stage is supposed to be the Hollywood Bowl, which holds an important role in music. The Beatles played there, The Supremes performed there without Florence Ballard in 1967, and 10 years later they get booed off the stage, and Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys perform there before Brian Wilson has a nervous breakdown.

I forgot the beginning lines of the song but bear with me.
The first little lamb jumped over the fence and was off to the land of Nod, the second and third were close behind like three little peas in a pod.
The fourth little lamb was too chubby to jump, he crawled under instead. The fifth little lamb wasn’t there at all, he must have stayed home in bed number six jumped around as confused as could be he didn’t know where he had been, he jumped over that’s true but before he was through he jumped over, jumped back and jumped over again.
The next little lamb was the littlest lamb, too little for such a big leap. Though he tried like a scout he soon tuckered out and the littlest lamb fell asleep, the littlest lamb is asleep.

This episode originally aired September 19,1963 I was just a kid I’m sure I saw it when I was around 8 or 9 in reruns !! This was 1 of the greatest cartoons ever made !! There was no violence just singing, dancing and entertainment love and sharing the joy !! This brought back fond memories of being a child for me I just attended my classes 45th year reunion !! I was talking to a girl that I went to school with from first grade on I said to her it seamed like it was just yesterday Karen that we were kids she agreed !! It a shame that they stopped making these old cartoons !!

No violence? Fred used to beat Barney, their wives used to beat them up too.
Fred was always hitting his head, Barney was constantly in and out of the Hospital. It's cartoon violence, but still violence

I ain't going to be your fool no more

I gave you all the love
I had Still you tried to treat me bad
    I loves you but
I ain't going to be your fool
You're going to find out just what you're done wrong
You're going to wake up in the morning baby I'll be gone Each and every day of the week
I can't eat my dinner and
    I can't sleep

Believe it or not, when I watched this as a little kid during the 90's, I used to think that when she said "Now it's my turn to play" she meant something like it being her turn to take hold of a game controller and play a video game. And back then, I didn't know The Flintstones was made during a time when video game consoles didn't even exist. Sounds crazy I know, but hey I was just a little kid back then.

A few years ago I met an older gentleman that tuned my piano a few times (I don't play the piano anymore). He was a musician in Vegas years ago and played in orchestras for Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. His mother was a singer and knew Ann-Margret. Anyway, this piano tuner told me Ann-Margret used to give him advise and who to trust and who to watch out for in Vegas when he first started playing there. Said she was the nicest person you could meet.

It just goes to prove that one random act of kindness can make the world of difference. Fred & Barney never left Bedrock, never became wealthy and famous but for that one moment in time they felt like the biggest stars in world. I think that they would remember that night for the rest of their lives.
