I have actually found to use gasoline in a air right bag works better. And fill the remainding area around it with. Water, but this is only what I USE. I’m not telling anyone to follow my procedure lol
I'm guessing you're stuck loosening the bolts holding the bottom carb on? I was able to break them loose with a crow's foot wrench, then by hand. I'm sure a stubby wrench would work.
Have the same engine and seem to have a coolant leak. Have you ever taken the exhaust cover of a outboard this old? Any recommendations of not braking the bolts?
@@daryncook Thanks for the replay. I will investigate a bit more on cylinder side before to rule out if not running on one cylinder. Had bottom sparkplug very clean when I did the carb cleaning.
Hey Max, did you rebuild the carbs? I am looking at purchasing a 94 DT25 that will not idle unless the choke is on. Needs carbs rebuilt l guess. Thanks for your time.
Nice work!!
Thank you. This is an awesome video and just what i need.
How big is your ultrasonic cleaning machine and can you just use carburetor cleaner?

Would of liked to see you take off bottom carb.
My apologies sir

I’ve never taken the exhaust cover off. Only suggestion would be tapping the bolts with a ball peen, shocking them a little bit

I’ve got a 93 d25C. Are most of these carbs pretty similar? I’m going to be taking all three off and rebuilding them this week.
Try to find your manual on manualslib
