I currently own a ‘21 Expedition Max and this refresh intrigues me. We use it for road trips and it is very, comfortable. The hands free driving is what is most appealing to me. The lane keep assist seems to work when it wants to, but other than that it is very easy to drive.
The front end of the truck reminds me of most face guards of football helmets very aggressive I like it 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿 and if you look closer is a nod back to the 2001 expedition front end
All these redesigns have the market swinging toward the full size segment. I owned a gmc Denali, nothing but issues. Bought a new 2023 Nissan Armada platinum V8 on its 13 year old platform, but tried and true the thing is amazing. Im not a huge Ford fan, but if you go full size, this is it, tried and true. Ford has had the ecoboost how many years? Does this have auto leveling rear suspension? That would drive this home.

That's not how I remember it. I thought it was Excursion/Suburban, Expedition/Tahoe, Blazer/Explorer. Well... then Blazer became Trailblazer, then became Traverse. And Ford stopped making the Excursion. I could be remembering wrong though.
@@stephencooper3583 The excursion isn’t part of it because it’s so massive and is the only one of all of them that had a diesel option. If you notice, suburbans and expeditions for a while shared their front ends with their truck counterparts- Silverado and f150

Hopefully it isn't dated and the ford engineers remember to put a tow hitch on it. The 1st gen dated expeditions never had integrated tow hitches. All were added by dealer because of poor old man engineers
i currently have a ford Expedition EL Limited. It's my second one. And I'm in the market for a new SUV. However; I think I'm going to purchase a Tahoe. My current Expedition the back hatch is rusting and I think my previous Expediton held up better. Not only that I was hoping that the new Expedition had a Hybrid option which was hinted all year. Ford just copied Land Rovers tail gate design ..amongst other things ... saying that i dont mind this , even though i feel the arse is too raised ( of the vehicle ;))
@BubbaSmith7 also Ford explorers interiors are a direct rip off RR Defender .. Personally, I have no issues in products being inspired by one another until the time they are tastefully done and not undercut the original idea or IP ...much like most Chinese products do ..
And only 20k more than anyone is willing to pay for a ford. Why do these American brands keep trying to rebrand themselves as luxury brands? They will never be luxury cars, so stop trying to!
Lots to like. But no Air Suspension, no Fog Lights, no 2nd row window Sun Shades, no front seat Thigh Extensions.... For $80K-plus, these are features that other competitors offer at lesser cost. Still, lot to like!!!! I wonder if there will also be a ST sport or Stealth package????
Ask of this new tech. 😂 these new cars all falling and malfunctioning. I’m talking all the brands. Not to mention how everything is being made so cheaply but costing almost $70K. It’s a depreciating investment and not worth it. Sure, they look beautiful but it’s simply not worth it. Everything is a gimmick now. Also many Americans can’t afford anything. 60% live check to check. But this is Ford. Everything should last except for the air conditioning system😂.
The interior is so ugly. Make the interior like the F150, please. The dial is ugly and uncomfortable. The front facing facia is too feminine as well. Not upgrading from my 2020 model.

Neat, all the 'cool must have features" are all extra upgrade charges. Pay 80k for the SuV then add 40k more for all the upgrades you want. Sweet!
Me encanta el gran diseño de FORD EXPEDITION.
Best improvement is the split tail gate. I am the owner of a Land Cruiser 200 and enjoy this same feature.

A lot of Woman will be buying this or have the winning vote in the family.
The taillights should of matched the front headlights wrapped all the way around from side to side but that's just me. 🤷🏽🤷🏽🤷🏽
Put a 5.0L V8 or even a supercharged/turbo 5.0L V8 and I'm sold. If not, have to go with the new GMC Yukon XL or the Cadillac Escalade ESV.
Here comes the rescue!
What’s happened with the audio? It’s rough
Okay, they sort of screwed up the Maverick’s font end. Guess they thought it would work on the back end of this.

The previous it's more luxury i think the new model for Chinese markets it"s 🤢
The crazy new dashboard design is a carbon copy of the 1970's Rover SD1, even down to the square steering wheel. Plagiarism, Ford.
Looks like an old Prius with that recessed speedo. Not good, will probably rattle more than the Prius too after a few years.
Make a 2 door version and call it Bronco OJ
But can we finally order it with the third-row seat deleted- saving weight, fuel and over $1k ?
