It’s June 2024 and I’m going through a painful break up . I listened to this song last night for the first time . I had listened to songs like “ Your Love “ a year ago for the first time . This band has so many great songs . But this one hits me in the heart 😢. Both of two guys are now gone . What a band ! How comes that I never heard about this band and this song before?! I can’t believe it!
I also first heard this song several years ago, not long after my girlfriend left me. I liked the Outfield before then, but this song felt so personal, and beautiful, and I delved deeper into their catalogue of songs, and The Outfield has officially become my favorite band. "For You" is my favorite song. I also recommend the Instrumental version, which is also on TH-cam :)

Try forgiving, I'm a broken man
All day, all night
You can have it anyway you want it
One love, so right
Don't you know that I live my life for you?
I'm so sad, feeling blue
Since you left, I've been missing you
Take these words, understand
Try forgiving, I'm a broken man
All day, all night
You can have it anyway you want it
One love, so right
Don't you know that I live my life for you?
All day, all night
You can have it anyway you want it
One love, so right
Don't you know that I live my life for you?
For you
You can have it anyway you want it
For you
For you
Doesn't matter if the sun don't shine
For you
For you
Oh, anyway you want it
For you
For you
Doesn't matter if the sun don't shine
Temazo
Thanks
Thank you for doing the words for this song really brings it home for me ❤❤❤❤
This band is a bit of an enigma. Never had a hit in their native England, but enjoyed modest success in the US. Doesn't really matter. Just makes them a little extra special to fans like us.
They weren't from England. there a British band
And you're a Lakers fan. You're already someone I like 😁
Von Gallegos OMG you're being serious?! *dying*
And they were extremely popular in Mexico. Go figure!

Best not publicize your personal problems. It shows maturity when you don't broadcast your issues.
good luck to you - you will recover - as hard at that sounds right now
Hold on, you can do it!❤
It happened to me when this was a hit in 91
