These songs always make me think of what it was like back then, the history left in that decade and what we have to deal with today and the music we listen to. Love the 80's and I always love to listen to this before work to start my day off right like how they started their days off back then. I will never forget this decade as long as I live😀😀. Wish we had a time machine to go back to the 80's and live those good ol days again😀😀.
Nostalgia goggles tend to make one blind to the shite. Remember hair metal, Ronnie Raygun starting the decline of U$A, Margaret Thatcher in UK and the threat of nukes. That said, their were more actual musicians on the airwaves and far less of people talking over stolen music and people who are good with a keyboard and mouse and auto fekking tune.
As a musician myself , I gotta say the 80's had an impressive list of musical geniuses that will probably never be rivaled...this stuff is STILL TOP NOTCH MUSIC !!!!!!
+NightOwl 64 For the most part, the U.K. did not seem to want to know about these guys. However, they did have some success in some European countries, but they definitely struck gold in the U.S. and rightly so.

Power pop at it finest. This is one of my favorite songs in this genre.
RIP Tony Lewis thank you for the great music and all the memories
Hermosa canción, cargada de sentimientos, cerré mis ojos mientras la escuchaba y me transporté a esos años hermosos de adolescencia...
Mr Jim Robertson...I totally agree with you sir!!!
Doreen Harris Thanks
+Jim Robertson absolutley agree I can drift off and forget what's going on for a moment.
We all watched MTV And taped all our favorite songs on VHS
Love'd you Tony. Decades. Absolutely And Completely "Underated"! Please rest in peace friend. Goodnight.
This is hands down one of the greatest 80's songs that does not get airplay. Yeah, Your Love is great, but so is this one.
They were a great power chord band. I love the riff at the intro of 'your love'. It has to be one of the greatest riffs of all time.
John spinks love the cars, you can the hear the cars in the Guitar intro......rest in peace. Tony lewis and john spinks
All i see is happiness in their eyes everytime they perform.. 😊❤️
Long live The Outfield 🙌🤘🏼
Great band! Long live the eighties!
As a musician myself , I gotta say the 80's had an impressive list of musical geniuses that will probably never be rivaled...this stuff is STILL TOP NOTCH MUSIC !!!!!!
Such an amazing group!
Anytime I hear The Outfield, it takes me back to simpler times and always brings a smile to my face
R.I.P. John Spinks. What a loss to the musician community, and what a severely underrated band. Thanks for the music and the memories.
RIP, Tony Lewis - An original sound, perhaps imitated, nut never to be true again.
The Outfield was such an underrated band. That first album is excellent pop music and the second ain't so bad either.
Tom Suitt yeah there amazing ! there from Manchester, but never made it in the UK but was big in the states
+Lee Aaron Never made it in the UK? Really??
no they never really got big in the UK there fame was all in america
+NightOwl 64 For the most part, the U.K. did not seem to want to know about these guys. However, they did have some success in some European countries, but they definitely struck gold in the U.S. and rightly so.
+Tom Suitt Not pop, but Power Pop.
R.I.P. Tony Lewis. Thank you for the gift of your incredible tunes. That voice...eternal. 🙏🏻
TONY YOU NEVER DIE !!
Love Tony Lewis’ rolling bass in this track. Saw you live and “unplugged” at the 1992 Summer Jam in Albany, NY. Thank you for the music. You touched the world with it.
