Listened to it over and over when I finally saved enough money to buy the cassette. I remember what I was doing the first time I heard it. I’m 51 now and just listening to this song takes me back to that youthful time in my life. ❤ loved the outfield. A band that just “had it” with the vocals and sound on the instruments. Since you've been gone Tony Lewis .
Since The Outfield has been gone, this world's been turned upside down. Rest in peace, John Spinks and Tony Lewis. Watching this video on MTV back in the late 80s was like a shot of adrenaline for my teenaged self! I'm gonna miss these blokes for the rest of my life. Cheers, mates.
R.I.P. Tony Lewis! You will be remembered as one of the greatest 80’s vocalist and The Outfield as one of the greatest 80’s band that got to hit the world with those songs!

My favorite song from this band. I don’t know how many times I cranked the stereo and played air guitar to this. First we lost John and now Tony has passed on. Total shock when I heard the news. You will be missed but your music will live on. We love you... rest in peace guys.
This must have been fairly early with the B&W/color effect. You see it all the time now but in the 80s it probably was fairly novel. And the slow mo look but they are still in time ( had them mime to a sped up track so when they slowed to correct tempo they were in slow mo but playing in time). Neat tricks back then. The drummer always sounds so in the pocket on these tunes. I like the verse better than the chorus on this even though it's just 4 to 5 over and over. The chorus is just a
