Took my care into the garage this week. Speaking to the garage owner, he complained about his health issues. He consulted a scrap of paper. ‘Been told to check out someone called Barbara O’Neill. Ever heard of her?’ I nodded. ‘Well, no harm in checking her out. See what she’s got to say and think it over’. I told him. ‘ Check her out. Don’t think it over. Not for a moment. Just do it. Many plants have anti-nutrients - lectins, gluten, oxalates, and phytic acid. Certain cooking techniques can reduce these (boiling food and throwing out the water for oxalates, pressure cooking food on high heat for 15 minutes to remove lections - also requires the water to be thrown away, fermentation for several days, etc.). Choosing foods that are organic and with reduced quantities of anti-nutrients is required to really profit from plant foods. Animal foods can also be unhealthy since animals pass on what they eat to you. So having organic and free-range eggs is better than other types. Milk should be of the A2 protein variety - and kefir from organic A2 protein is better than plain milk. Dieting (fasting - not eating) for 16 or more hours a day with a low carbohydrate diet (20 to 40 grams of "net" carbohydrates - excluding plant fiber) and moderate protein (30 grams of complete protein a day) and eating no more than 1-2 times a day is also a big part of nutrition. So is taking full minerals and vitamins - all of these in good quantities. Fasting up to 36 hours (or more - up fo 5 days) a couple of times a year will also help remove defective protein and DNA from the body. Finally - a lot of focus on gut bacteria using fermented foods (kefit, kimchi, etc.) and probiotics together are needed for at least a few weeks at a time every now and then to promote better hormone impacts. This is just from the food perspective - I'm not dealing with emotional and mental traumas, healing stress to reduce cortisol, etc.

My wife also has trouble with bell peppers if they are "male" bell peppers, but she has no problem with "female" bell peppers. Didn't know there is a difference? Well, there is. The male bell pepper is the one with a single point, three points or in rare cases, five points or sections. The female most commonly four points or sections, I have never seen one with six points, but they may exist. The female is not as acidic, is a bit sweeter and easier on the stomach. So, if you like bell peppers, but they don't like you, give a female bell pepper a try.

Hi Mrs. Barbara.. Your videos are so informative and very helpful.. Thank you.. I have IBS, ulcers, and other health issues.. I retain allot of water, so I try my best to eat foods with no to little salt, I see you were talking about the Celtic salt, with a person who retains salt would that actually make it worse? I've tried the Himalayan salt and that was very bad with retention so I won't try that anymore.😂 I can't do the apple cider vinegar because it causes stomach issues with me also with the ulcers.. But I stopped using olive oil and started using Avocado oil.. Is the essential oil better or can I switch back and forth especially on my salads?.. I know lemon juice is acidic, but I know people put that in their water or drink it at night.. Would you recommend people with ulcers, liver problems, to drink lemon water or put it into their foods? Or should we exclude it all together?

    Alkaline effect to body
    Lemon
    leafy greens
    Vegetables
These can have an acidic or alkaline effect on a body, depends on individuals. You need to investigate and fine tune the body
    Brinjal
    Tomatoes
    Bell peppers
    Sweet potatoes
    Potatoes
Keeping track of what you eat and how you feel after that is very important. Must listen to your body.
    Balance is very important
Cooking tomatoes with an oil, eg. olive oil. When cooked with oil, it releases a plant chemical called lycopene, which is from the fat soluble family. So little oil is important because it releases the fat soluble minerals. Have cooked tomatoes with oil at least 3 to 4 times a week.
Adding oils to salads can contribute to heart health and anti-inflammatory effect on body
2 nuts, almond & Brazil and all the seeds hav an alkaline effect on body
Fruit may have an acidic effect on body? If a person has yeast presence in their body and they eating fruits, the sugars in the fruits will feed the yeast. And as the yeast feeds on the sugars in the fruit, it gives off acetic acid, lactic acid, uric acid. So basically, it's furthering it's nest. They are feeding the problem where the acid level is 5.5 where the yeast loves to live. Also, alcohol is given off. Alcohol breaks down in the body as acetyl dehyde, which is a neuro toxin, which is a brain killer.
There are 5 places you can be exposed to acetyl dehyde :-
    - When someone consumes alcohol.
    - if someone has a yeast problem, and they have a lot of fruit
    - cigarette smoke
    - car fumes
    - vinegar
Understanding these interactions is crucial for managing your health effectively.
    Acid forming foods :-
    Phosphorus, Sulphur abd chlorine.
Foods high in the above :-
    - MEAT
Dr Collin Campbell found he could turn the cancer cells on and off, by the amount of meat and dairy given to the rats.
    - REFINED SUGAR
    - HYBRADIZED WHEAT
    - AGED CHEESE ( BLUE & BLUE VEINED CHEESE - IT'S MOULD)
Cheese that are OK in small amounts not too often are cottage cheese and ricotta. They still come from cows that may not be fed right or have chemicals in them. But on the PH scale they not as acidic.
    - CAFFEINE (come handy in hand with sugar which ups the acid level)
    - COCA COLA IS A MIX OF CAFFEINE & SUGAR. In the Early part of the 20th century, they put cocaine in it, and then they went over to caffeine, which is just as dangerous.
    - ALCOHOL
    - TOBACCO
    - GRAINS -( oatmeal, rice, Chickpeas, garbanzo, black eyed beans, kidney beans,
    - LEGUMES (Lima, lentil & soy are
    alkaline based)
    - NUTS (Besides almonds and Brazil)
To maintain the 6.5 PH level, we need to contain 20% acid forming foods, 70 to 80% alkaline forming foods . We need a little acid. When the whole meal is acid, then it tips the sky.
