      They were. I keep in the boat everything they may ask for. You never know…

    Your by Augustine beach... I see powerplant behind you... I got some good crabbing spots down in Maryland in Chesapeake Bay.... Good flounder spot also ..in sounds by crisfield Maryland

      That is quite a hike from northern DE. I know Maryland crabs are good. I crabbed there with a friend, but between trip, gas, ramp launch fees it’s not worth it.

    The Blues definitely like a meal of Chicken Necks Yuri....That was my preferred menu item when I was hand lining.....Next stop a Crab Samich!!😎

      I can use razor clams, but I have not had traps setup for clams. Word on the street blues like clam even better, but chicken necks do the trick.

    Some nice and delicious looking crabs. Game wardens seemed polite and professional.

      We enjoyed fresh crabs. Wardens were cool. Didn’t mind that I had small ones from the unfinished run. 😁

    Great video! I really enjoyed watching and going along with you. I think you did a great job getting enough for dinner. Keep up the good work and looking forward to more adventures. As always, #FishyAngler rocks!!!

    My favorite traps for easy crabbing and not much space💫 Biden team checking everything and the Size before called ?

    7-8” those are giants!! Can’t wait to see you pick those up. Your stackable traps sure makes for great space saving
    Glad you were on the up and up when the DNR wardens dropped in for a cameo. Glad they were thorough as they attempt to minimize poaching.

      By the end of the season, there are some jumbos here and there. But average crab 6-7 in.

      Bootlicker, don't deep throat the whole boot now ok !

      In my experience they are among the "LEAST COOL" out there. I know they see a lot of bad stuff, but in 20+ years of fishing Delaware, NJ, MD and VA, they can be among the most aggressive and least friendly to those who are very obviously following the law.

    • @FishyAngler
      @FishyAngler  ปีที่แล้ว

      And to be bootlicker means to follow the law and regulations?

    • @FishyAngler
      @FishyAngler  ปีที่แล้ว

      @jimmi_1518 Possible. This was my first ever facing them.

    I guess we are over policed for no good reason. They have a purpose but it's not to prey on the natives by no means

    Augustine Beach is too far north this early. You would do better on the Eastern shore of Maryland chesapeake bay. Chester, wye, miles rivers.

    • @FishyAngler
      @FishyAngler  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I know, but I wanted to try it in my backyard 😁 . Friend of mine went crabbing in Chesapeake around Wye river and got nothing. Even though they bigger there, it also hit and miss.

  • @christianlander321
    @christianlander321 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's a shame that you got shaken down like that. I know they're only doing there job but come on really!! They should have better things to do with they're time yeah?!!!!

    • @FishyAngler
      @FishyAngler  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It’s ok. They were doing their job and ask only for things that should be on the boat. I didn’t mind.

    And, BTW What the Hell business is it of a ""GAME"" Warden to be checking ""Safety"" equipment? & Looking in Bilges? AND, Looking at Boat "registration? WHEN was the last time you saw a ""GAME Warden"" stop a nice Big Motor YACHT? Or how about a 1,000 HP Speed boat? THAT is the job of the Harbor Patrol &/or Coast Guard!! Power & "Control" people! Gov't OVER Reach at every possible turn!

    • @FishyAngler
      @FishyAngler  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, coast guard don’t patrol lakes and ponds, I guess therefore game wardens are up to the job.
