It's not "beat up" in prison when it comes to crimes against children, it's "beat to un alive" or other forms of punishment from the inmates.
Thats surprising to me. I never thought other prisoners who are in there for other reasons also hated pedos

The story of Kalief Browder is heartbreaking and infuriating. He was an innocent kid, only 16, who was wrongly put in jail.

I sometimes watch videos by three women who did some time. Two of them were pregnant when they went in and gave birth while shackled to the hospital bed. They all tell some horrible stories about the things that go on inside.

I wouldn't wish for anyone to go to prison. It sounds dreadful and scary. I actually have an assault case against me, not sure if prison will be a "punishment". But what actually happened was, the guy that my mom had in foster care has been a instigater of domestic violence in our home for almost a decade, I just turned 18 a few months ago btw. There was this drama about a bathroom door, an he actually assaulted me for the 3rd time, my mom is another story, he assaulted me with the buckle of a belt and i stabbed him with my pocket knife in self defence. Then he had the audacity to file a report, he ended up lying in his statement, in myne i told them exactly what happened. The court wanted to thorw out the case for obvious reasons, but he insists on going forward.
I just hope that justice will be served and that the legal system will be on my side, because I am innocent.
Just thought I'd share this. But I'm fine, btw. I gave my life to Jesus a few years ago and have been able to endure. He's changed me and has given me the mental and emotional strength to get through this, and hopefully will bring this storyline to an end.

The first one is really sad... the fact that the guards were nice to him too. I'm sure he saw the prison guards as more fathers than his own step dad, which is sad. Also, I hope no one ever has to go to prison for a crime they didn't do.

I've seen some sad stuff in county , 2 times it had to with mentally ill one guy was slow and not right in the head. , on the outside he would be one of those people that are extremely friendly and all that ....I don't remember how long I had been in that tank for but the older heads. Basically waiting for their cases to be over with to go back to state prison. They decided to mess with the kid/guy. And telling him they had a bunch of dope. It was actually comet the cleaning supply.....they lined up a lot maybe whatever was in the can and offered it to him. He sniffed it all up , another time was a was in a different jail and this one was run by Mexican gangs. That was my life when I was growing up and into my 20s. So I knew how to act. .. basically it's all respect. ....well a guy behind me walked in with his head up high and thought he was big dawg...... I was maybe 4 pages into my book when they got him in the bunks directly aside from me ... I kept reading my book. ....when it was over I took a quick glance and he was completely bloody and his jaw hanging off...... finished a lot of pages that day
I would take heaven or jail if you know what I mean. I just wish I wasn't too much of a coward
