I just want you to know that I don't even care about this game at all, im only watching because I love watching Karak review shit.
Flying Tigers Shadows Over China seems like such a generic flight combat game. The voice accents are horrible. The single player campaign is only so so. Multiplayer is alright. There is a decent variety when it comes to the various planes and weapons. Of course, there is a major shortage of flight combat games for the PS4 and Xbox One so as a result, this game might be of interest to some people. Despite a few positives, it's clear that this a budget title no matter how you look at it. Sure, the game doesn't cost much which is great. However, there are far better options out there at around the same price or perhaps a little bit more. On the plus side, Ace Combat 7 Skies Unknown will be coming out later this year so I'm hoping that it ends up being an enjoyable experience, especially after the abysmal Ace Combat Assasult Horizon. With that aside thanks as always Karak for another great review!

Playing alot of War Thunder recently made me fire this game up again. After re-mapping the controls to copy War Thunder, im really starting to enjoy the game!

We, as warplane fans, need to buy and support these games just to show we want more! These games are almost non-existent on console right now!!!!!
And we really need IL2 Birds of Prey as BC on Xbox One. I mean cmon, is Gaijin that worried a whole 5 people might play it over War Thunder! Gaijin is an active company, so theres no excuse why they cant flip the switch and make their games backwards compatible. So what if the Historical campaigns are exactly the same in both games( haha, couldnt beleive it when i bought them on War Thunder) we the fans dont care! ;)
I'd buy it for that price. Like you said, it's an under-represented genre and I want more of it.

Don't forget that there will be a new Ace Combat out on consoles (pc?) this year! And Elite Dangerous is a really really good game if you go into it with the correct mindset, filled with challenging combat, deep shipbuilding and a great sandbox to be part of something bigger then yourself. I'm playing the PC version but I'm sure the consoles are up to snuff, if not, feel free to correct me.
Great review. Haven't played anything like this since Crimson Skies on Xbox, so I was hoping...but I guess not surprised that it looks uninteresting. There's a one part recipe which made Crimson Skies so good....make the multiplayer fun.

Why does this game exist? War Thunder did everything better... like 5 years ago. Graphics, physics, variety, combat.... its all better on War Thunder.... for free.

Bearlyhere I don't see that happening...to do an actual review he would have to put hundreds of hours into the game. He mentioned in a podcast with SkillUp that he doesn't think that he needs to do a review because there are already enough out there. I see where you are coming from though...It is hard to understand why Warframe is such a special game in so many aspects when you haven't experienced it for yourself. Especially when it comes to its buisness model and no publisher bullshit development foundation...It is the perfect example of what the future of gaming (gaming as a service) can look like when done right.
