- We got to stop hording stuff! Why do we always pit things away in cupboards, where moths and rust usually destroy them? Life happens now! Let's get all those 'special' things out of storage,ET's start to enjoy them!
Do you know how many 'special' things ended up in thrift stores, because people keep them for special occasions that never come! And then they die without ever enjoying them. We got to realize our kids are from another generation, and the things that's special to us, are mostly not special to them. Sad but true.
So open your dark cupboards and start enjoy your beautiful heirlooms! LIFE happens now!

Please don't forget, it isn't just vintage table cloths. The thrift shops are full of beautiful top sheets
that look as new as the day they were woven. That is what I want to use first. Lots of material
to perfect a home spun pattern before cutting into those beautiful old table cloths of exquisite linen!

Although I am currently 22- about to be 23, I agree we should do-away with the idea that anyone 50+ should "forget" about being "sexy". 😊 Like you said, life is too short to worry of such silly things (and to leave your linens sitting untouched lol).
