R.I.P sweater dress. I love me some batwing sleeve. It's so hard to find these days. I really appreciate that you don't wear too small clothes as most other people on TH-cam that claim that it fits "perfectly" 😤

how did you finish the square neck? hemming acute angles stresses me out (beginner sewer here haha also very pumped to have found this channel!)
Hey there! I’m glad you’re enjoying my channel! So for the square neck, I snipped into the corners at an angle, folded them over and sewed along the whole edge which is NOT the “correct” way to do it lol but it’s easier and quick. The correct way is to make a facing for the whole neckline, there are several videos on it here on TH-cam too. Good luck!!

Hi! I don’t know if you have gotten a rotary cutter in your later videos (I just subscribed) but I would definitely recommend one, it has made sewing for me so much easier. I got mine at Walmart in a rotary cutter/scissor set for $10! Anyways super excited to watch more videos

Hi, enjoying watching! I just want to know, when you make a seam from cutting off a pc of clothing, how are you sewing this? it looked like just a straight seam. do you worry about fray? if so what do you do about that? thank yoU! :0) Kim

So so cool. Just found this video........and I am so amazed. Have been wanting to do this type of thing for a long time. Must say I love the winter do over the best. Don't know if I have the courage to take my scissors to any of my outfits that I no longer wear. Afraid I will destroy them. Do you ever use a dress form?

What sewing machine is she using? I see it's a Singer but which one? I've been looking at machines and it's just so hard to choose :( I want to get started already
I’m using the singer heavy duty 4452. It’s a really great machine that can see just about any fabric! If you’re a beginner I suggest something a little less intense and expensive. Happy sewing!

I have no idea haha I just used a piece of paper as my guide and tried my best
I wear size 3. My daughter and her friend play dress up with all my clothes and in the process also ruined a lot of my shoes.

You are beautiful… personally, I would have left both garments as is but just add nice havan color of medium width belts to both . Also, adding that sexy slit in the skirt is great. Now, that would’ve made them look classy, modest and sexy…I ador linen fabric …🌹
I need to find some things that are recycle out of SLINKY material. About 30 years ago they came out with this material and made everything you could think of from it. dress, pants, jacket, shirt, etc etc. I bought a bunch and never wore them because I felt they showed off every single curve. I can send you a picture of one or two of the pieces if that would help. Want to know if you can find a way to recycle. Let me know if you want pic.

I think the purple was actually a belted blouson dress, not a dropped waist.
Nice Blue outfit the skirt is a little to full I would have made it a wrap around or a false wrap around.
there wasn't enough fabric to really adjust the hip fullness, so I ended up selling it on my website to someone it would fit better!

I was actually was in the process of learning how to do facing when I put this video out, but my more recent ones have much better techniques haha just learning as I go! thanks for watching!

That’s supposed to say you should wear the skirt with a wide leather brown belt
The idea for the blue set was really cute. I really want this to be a positive comment but just cutting and turning under makes it look very DIY. If you learned how to do a facing for that neckline it would be amazing. Learning fine sewing techniques can be really fun and your creations will look like they were ready to wear instead if DIY.

AGAIN I got scared on your behalf, when I saw you , without having had a measure tape in use, just starting to cut the clothes. If I did it the same way, the project would probably mess up big time. Even WITH a measuring tape in use, they many times turn bad for me. I wish, I had your kind of courage.
i only cut without measuring tape when i know there is excess fabric i won't need
