I'm such a "hot mess express" right now and your words of encouragement and upbeat personality made me so happy I cried. I love your energy! Thanks for sharing this fun project with us ^^
R.I.P sweater dress. I love me some batwing sleeve. It's so hard to find these days. I really appreciate that you don't wear too small clothes as most other people on TH-cam that claim that it fits "perfectly" 😤
That's great! I'm not the biggest fan of batwing sleeves, so I modified, but I have found a few pieces that just look wrong without them haha Oh thank you! I've never liked tight clothes
I just stumbled onto your channel and I LOVE it! My mom had an eye like you and could reimagine old clothes! I’m trying to develop that skill, but I’ll never have your eye. Love watching you vids!
This is so inspirational! I love charity shopping and vintage clothes, but lack the confidence to revamp them. Your video makes me want to give it a go!
Love this video, make more of these, because you are so talented. I like to revamp my clothing as well to up date them. Have a blessed day, and stay safe.
I've just discovered your chanel and I'm really enjoying watching your videos during these crazy times we are living in atm. Keep making them cause you have a happy, positive vibe which is nice :)
You are extremely talented, and super funny. You brought a smile to my face this morning and creative thoughts to my mind. Thank you for sharing, I'm already a fan.😁
i love your vintage vibes. I love your transformation. i started making clothes trasformation during quarantine and enjoyed it i have bee sharing this journey too
I love the color and print of the second look, and I think it looks great as both a dress and a two-piece while the blue one definitely looks better as a two piece And don't worry about losing footage--it happens to everyone
I love your creativity, style, and energy! Thank you for such informative and fun content! 😊 P.s. when doggo asked for a petting I died through the screen wanting to give him some love 🥺
Love your ideas of how to flip. Would love it even more if you showed some technique or skills. e.g. How you finished the edges when you cut the square neck into the top.
I am happy I came across this chanel, you are so full of life,, creativity, positivity,, inspiration and love,, I enjoyed watching, I will be checking out your other chanels,, hi from Jamaica.
Hi, enjoying watching! I just want to know, when you make a seam from cutting off a pc of clothing, how are you sewing this? it looked like just a straight seam. do you worry about fray? if so what do you do about that? thank yoU! :0) Kim
You can watch more of my recent videos to see more techniques on sewing, but for those I do a zig zag stitch right along the edge like a fake serged edge
Hi! I don’t know if you have gotten a rotary cutter in your later videos (I just subscribed) but I would definitely recommend one, it has made sewing for me so much easier. I got mine at Walmart in a rotary cutter/scissor set for $10! Anyways super excited to watch more videos
I don't actually have one, and I definitely need one! I don't have space for really anything else right now, but the second I do, that will be my first purchase haha thanks!
Hey there! I’m glad you’re enjoying my channel! So for the square neck, I snipped into the corners at an angle, folded them over and sewed along the whole edge which is NOT the “correct” way to do it lol but it’s easier and quick. The correct way is to make a facing for the whole neckline, there are several videos on it here on TH-cam too. Good luck!!
Hola. Espero puedas leer este mensaje..soy de Argentina.hermoso tú vídeo y trabajo...me encanta lo que tenes puesto, lo realizarse tú? Me encantaría un vídeo para hacer ese enterito! GRACIAS
I need to find some things that are recycle out of SLINKY material. About 30 years ago they came out with this material and made everything you could think of from it. dress, pants, jacket, shirt, etc etc. I bought a bunch and never wore them because I felt they showed off every single curve. I can send you a picture of one or two of the pieces if that would help. Want to know if you can find a way to recycle. Let me know if you want pic.
What sewing machine is she using? I see it's a Singer but which one? I've been looking at machines and it's just so hard to choose :( I want to get started already
I’m using the singer heavy duty 4452. It’s a really great machine that can see just about any fabric! If you’re a beginner I suggest something a little less intense and expensive. Happy sewing!
So so cool. Just found this video........and I am so amazed. Have been wanting to do this type of thing for a long time. Must say I love the winter do over the best. Don't know if I have the courage to take my scissors to any of my outfits that I no longer wear. Afraid I will destroy them. Do you ever use a dress form?
The idea for the blue set was really cute. I really want this to be a positive comment but just cutting and turning under makes it look very DIY. If you learned how to do a facing for that neckline it would be amazing. Learning fine sewing techniques can be really fun and your creations will look like they were ready to wear instead if DIY.
You are beautiful… personally, I would have left both garments as is but just add nice havan color of medium width belts to both . Also, adding that sexy slit in the skirt is great. Now, that would’ve made them look classy, modest and sexy…I ador linen fabric …🌹
I was actually was in the process of learning how to do facing when I put this video out, but my more recent ones have much better techniques haha just learning as I go! thanks for watching!
“Dress to express, not to impress” worrds to live by!!
AMEN AMEN. i live by them everyday!
Your fearlessness in cutting these garments and jumping in and your pure joy in the final project is fun to watch!
Aww thanks!
I love charity shopping , I’m really enjoying watching your remakes and love how you think out side the box and come up with your great end results.
Thank you so much!!
You say “Turn of the century” this nearly 60 yr old is like “Oh the 19th to 20th century.” ☺️
I'm such a "hot mess express" right now and your words of encouragement and upbeat personality made me so happy I cried. I love your energy! Thanks for sharing this fun project with us ^^
AWW I’m so glad I could encourage you!! Thanks for your kind words!
It's been a year and I'm just randomly checking on ya, just wishing you well and I hope that life feels better for you and yours. Take care🦋
You should iron your seams, it will make everything look really finished and professional. :)
In my more recent flips you can see how i've added more of the process including ironing to my videos. thanks for watching!
I love the jumpsuit you are wearing! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! It's one of my favorite pieces, so comfy too!

Turn-of-the-century used to mean the early 1900s! I am so old. 😭😂
Lol it still technically means that, there’s just another one more recently haha I didn’t even think about that
You are soo fun.. I'm subscribing!!!

Maybe add the leftover buttons from the cut off fabric on the blue top.also love your channel.
I wonder what you could do with salvaged, purposefully ripped throw aways by Old Navy?
No idea haha

Oh my goodness, thank you so much! Welcome to Well-Loved! I'm so glad Whitney connected us!
how did you finish the square neck? hemming acute angles stresses me out (beginner sewer here haha also very pumped to have found this channel!)

¡gracias! Estoy tan contento de que disfrutes de mis videos. Sin embargo, no hice el mono, así que no tengo un tutorial, ¡lo siento!
But I want to know exactly how you finished the edges where you cut off the excess fabric.
This is one of my first thrift flips, so I just rolled the edges, but you can see more techniques and tips in my more recent flips
I love your dungarees.. Did you make those? You've done a great job with all of those pieces and I love your confidence in cutting!
I did not make them, but I did thrift them! Thank you so much!
@@WellLoved I thought you might have! 👍
these are so beautiful :) what do you do with the leftover cloth?
Thank you!! I have a giant pile of scraps I’m hoping to turn into a quilt soon!
How did you get the square knack just right?
I have no idea haha I just used a piece of paper as my guide and tried my best
I wear size 3. My daughter and her friend play dress up with all my clothes and in the process also ruined a lot of my shoes.
Aww sweet they can play dress up but sucks for the shoes, Sad!

slinky material like the metal toy? or as in silk/satin? I love both hahah

Haha yup
Wow

Thank you!! I love making two pieces!
I think the purple was actually a belted blouson dress, not a dropped waist.
You are adorable !
thank you!!
Very cute
Thanks!
Nice Blue outfit the skirt is a little to full I would have made it a wrap around or a false wrap around.
there wasn't enough fabric to really adjust the hip fullness, so I ended up selling it on my website to someone it would fit better!
Cool show
Thanks!
Where is the long blue skirt with a beautiful wide brown leather belt
That’s supposed to say you should wear the skirt with a wide leather brown belt
Cute
Thanks!
Yes, use better techniques like facings.
I was actually was in the process of learning how to do facing when I put this video out, but my more recent ones have much better techniques haha just learning as I go! thanks for watching!
