I can say one things for sure after all the flooding this summer the hogs have been running tillers through them bottoms 😂. Walking to my bow set up saw a group of 10 attempted a stalk and the wind swirled and hit me in the back they perked up and run. Saw another group of 6 they busted me so i walked a mile back to truck put the bow up and got the 30-30 went back a shot 1 @ 65lbs could of possibly shot another on the run but wasn't looking forward to dragging 2 out the woods😅. Was nice to finally get out for some needed woods time! Cant wait for a decent front those evening hunts where rough.
There definitely was ALOT or blow downs! It pained me seeing all those old growth trees laying over. LOTS of funnels! The floods seem to wash out alot of old leaf litter im seeing alot of fresh growth coming up. That is good. Alot of those old trees where nearing the end after all. Im sure in a few years were gonna see some thick stuff and alot of canes!
