- Aquaman is one of the original members of the Justice League but his history hasn't been met with the utmost applause as the other characters have. Aquaman has been the center of most jokes and hasn't been taken seriously over the years. Although, there are many recent iterations of him that actually respect how badass he can be and what the character is truly capable of.

Aquaman need Better Villains.
Yes he does, Black Manta and Ocean Master is great and King Shark is quite fun, but for a great hero, he deserves more
He has Scavenger, Nerius, Deadwater, Namma and Siren off the top of my head but he certainly does need other villains. They’ll never be used unlike Ocean Master and Black Manta. I’m not angry about Black Manta though because he is awesome and not as overused as the Joker or Lex Luthor.
He needs more villains. Also fisherman
Aquaman deserves to be on the original seven. He’s proficient in leading a team because he’s led an entire kingdom. He is extremely smart tactical and has great amounts of strength. Sure he’s not on the level of Superman but no one else on the team is. He can control aquatic life. This boils down to he can control the animals of 70% of the world. Aquaman is just an awesome character in general. He has so much lore attached to him due to Atlantis. He has a great origin story and brilliant but simple design and he has a great personality enjoying the thrill of battle but taking his duties as king seriously. You can tell romance stories with him, horror stories, fantasy stories, sci-fi I guess because Atlanteans have advanced weaponry and technology along with just straight up political thriller stories. He has a lot of flexibility and can be an extremely gritty but optimistic character but he is never boring. Aquaman more than deserves his place on the original seven. Zatanna and Cyborg already have teams they belong to. They don’t make sense to be on the Justice League. Maybe an expanded roster but not on the original seven. Aquaman is the king of 70% of the world. Don’t mess with him. I don’t know if you can tell but I love Aquaman.

Black mata is aquaman's arch nemesis but his personality is different from reverse flash. Black mata doesn't admire aquaman neither he wants to be like him. So wtf are you talking about?

I am so tired of people shitting on Aquaman! There's two types of these people: 1) the one's that berate him based that silly claymation chicken show, or 2) the ones that reject the character's cool deal from jump to make him discount Namor.

Aquaman is not a physical peer of Wonder Woman, Superman, Captain Marvel, or Martian Manhunter. Aquaman strength is nowhere NEAR that and it doesn't have to be for him to be cool. If people actually read his early stories, you would see his physical skill, his cagey-ness, and resourcefulness with the Aquatic control.

Love the Hot Takes T.M.M. I would really like to see you talk about John Constantine as well as Doctor Fate. I would love to see a dark, demonic and atmospheric Constantine movie. However definitely not in James Gunn's universe. Most definitely an else world story like the Reese's Universe. Just a thought bro

I think they should do with him what they did with wonder woman, and make him related to a god because then you can give him more compelling stories

I agree with your unpopular opinion. My main seven Justice League members do not include Aquaman nor Green Lantern. Replacing them in my main 7 are Green Arrow and Black Canary.
Also after JLA, if u do dc next for hot takes then i suggest a team like Legion of doom or teen titans, but if u switch to marvel then i hope we might see a Punisher, xmen/magneto, maybe even Avengers hot take videos too! Since ngl u do a lot of great stuff on youtube but hot take videos are certainly one of my favs!
I just have a couple of singular characters I want to get through but I will definitely keep those in mind! (But I'm really glad you like my stuff!)
I really like the first one but I don't think the 2nd one will be as good... but I'll still watch it. H*ll, I even went to see The Flash in theatres!!! Momoa is a great fit and he did appeal to the non-comic book fans. Why not cast someone that's going to bring in the most revenue for the film. And he's a pretty decent actor too. From some of ths spoilers I seen, the CGI looks a bit hoaky, but let's see it on the big screen

its 70% of the world but somehow less interesting than cities like gotham and metropolis. Cyborg needs work too but be honest they both are mediocre in the league( cyborg on titans is a top 3 member tho)
Saying that you don't like aquaman because you are not into water based characters shows that you haven't read his stories. Read his new 52 (first 3 or 4 arcs and maelstrom arc) and his rebirth (first 2 arcs) shit and then tell me that you don't like aquaman. Also the fact that you believe that his jim lee design is the best, only proves your ignorance. Aquaman's costume is always the same. So jim lee didn't innovate. Plus ivan reis clearly draws aquaman better and he drawed during new 52.

I never claimed to be a comic book expert. I'm simply creating dialogue and making videos based on things I like while sharing opinions, ones that clearly offend you.
