No, he makes gimmicks and overcomplicate simple exercises. Like how he advises do this many shitty exercises for let's say shoulders when you only literally need to do overhead presses.

Yup happened to me a few weeks ago with the video about shoulder pain. I had just hurt it the day before and wanted to do some minor workout to rehab it
Well since most people do a 3 day split, chest/triceps, back/biceps, shoulders/legs. Then it is a very high change he will give you a video about what you are going to do a specific day. If you take into account all the other variations that you can do it is even a higher chance. Plus if you didn't do that muscle group today you probably planned for it tomorrow and therefore yeah
That overhead plate raise is actually a great fix. I was having issues with my elbows but this didn't cause any discomfort. I know many people say Jeff overcomplicates things but it is these little fixes that makes a difference. Not everybody's built the same. I also learned a way around my patellar tendinitis as well from Jeff.

@Gravemind Let me tell you, I don’t have good bicep genetics since they bulk up slowly but my triceps bulk up just fine! The best I can do is increase my good quality calorie intake to bulk up my biceps! 😆
I'm a massage therapist and one thing I noticed with a lot of my lifting clients who can't get a full release or who are compensating etc, is a stressed or underdeveloped teres group. A lot of exercises work them and I'm not a personal trainer, but finding and targeting them when stretching or lifting can help you become more aware of how tight or inflamed they can get. With how we sleep, walk, sit. Its one of the first things I check when I'm assessing clients because they stabilize so much. Some of the exercises people do aren't great for rotator cuff muscles, which can stress teres minor out and can cause some balance issues with teres major. Teres minor can be a particularly tricky bro because of it's attachment points which makes it one of my faves to work on because my clients generally have immediate relief. They also have THE BEST trigger points to work out. If you are ever in need of an adrenaline rush, get your teres fixed.

It's amazing how small technique changes can make a huge difference to an exercise, my Triceps are incredibly sore after using the techniques in this vid, before I hardly felt anything. Jeff does it again!
Wow. This was a big help. Just focusing on the details. Keeping the arm back allowed the long head to do more of the work. Could feel the difference after 2 sets. I was using resistance bands but it worked the same. Thanks Jeff. Also, I really like the addition of your interactive TV. I think it is very helpful in describing the differences in the two styles.

I started yoga twice a week in addition to my weight training, feels good to have more flexibility but now my spine clicks when i get my dumbbells in a bench press position or if i stretch my spine. My shoulder also clicks when i warm up, however i feel no discomfort or pain so is this bad? should i carry on with yoga, or is it that i need joint supplements? Thank you.

I’m 17 n my goal is just staying lean. I started when I was 14 I was at 106 pounds I believe and now I’m 17 at 137 with around 12-14% body fat(ima say 14 cuz I’ve kinda just been eating what I enjoy recently). Just eat more protein. I saw when I started focusing on all the other macros, my motivation decreased and the last thing I wanted to do was quit exercising at such a young age so I just dialed back and only focused on calorie and protein intake. I usually shoot for atleast 125-130 grams of protein per day n I spread it out throughout the day because I’ve heard that helps your body better take in the protein you consume. Ima soon start taking creative and looking into digestive enzymes to help with my protein absorption cuz I’ve kind of been hitting a wall with my training n muscle growth
Calorie surplus, get enough protein and 8hr sleep is a must, sleep below 8hrs will decrease your testosterone and stop Fapping Do full body workouts 3x a week. Atleast 1 exercise for each muscle group with 3-4 sets of 10-12 reps Do this consistently for a month if you are a beginner
I started working out at 13 and I'm almost 14 now and I've put on 8 kilo's I'd advice you to workout as many muscles as possible and eating enough protein, and for the exercises just find something that works for you or do one of the workouts on this channel
These thumbnails just made me realize that Jeff might be one of the only people on the planet who consistently uses his thumbnails to make his muscles look smaller, instead of bigger
what about if you are only interested in the lateral head, EVERYONE always talks about the long head which is the least aesthetic and easiest to train.

Sure, triceps are about 2/3 of total arm size, it's really important to train them!

Question:
What excercises do I do/ foods I should eat to gain weight and build muscle
(For a 16/17 year old)
I’m 17 n my goal is just staying lean. I started when I was 14 I was at 106 pounds I believe and now I’m 17 at 137 with around 12-14% body fat(ima say 14 cuz I’ve kinda just been eating what I enjoy recently). Just eat more protein. I saw when I started focusing on all the other macros, my motivation decreased and the last thing I wanted to do was quit exercising at such a young age so I just dialed back and only focused on calorie and protein intake. I usually shoot for atleast 125-130 grams of protein per day n I spread it out throughout the day because I’ve heard that helps your body better take in the protein you consume. Ima soon start taking creative and looking into digestive enzymes to help with my protein absorption cuz I’ve kind of been hitting a wall with my training n muscle growth
Calorie surplus, get enough protein and 8hr sleep is a must, sleep below 8hrs will decrease your testosterone and stop Fapping
Do full body workouts 3x a week.
Atleast 1 exercise for each muscle group with 3-4 sets of 10-12 reps
Do this consistently for a month if you are a beginner
I started working out at 13 and I'm almost 14 now and I've put on 8 kilo's I'd advice you to workout as many muscles as possible and eating enough protein, and for the exercises just find something that works for you or do one of the workouts on this channel
Start making smoothies too, I’ve gained like 5 lb over quarantine with dem

that’s a tough one. you could try plyometric push-ups, or even plyometric bench dips.
What for?
Weighted dips
Power plank ups. Get into a plank on your forearms and explode up onto your hands.
Diamond push ups, cobra push ups, power plank ups, body weight tricep push downs, reverse iron crosses, etc.
