I've been watching the videos from this tour as it progresses, the band is playing better and better each show. The Phoenix show was awesome, this one looks even better. More impro, tighter playing and having more fun. Oh, how I wish there was a tour for the LTE3 material with the studio lineup, that would be absolutely incredible.
I know a few people have said that this needs a rhythm guitarist. And I understand what you're saying because the recording has that, but I really don't think it does. This is just so pure, it's so much better. The fewer instruments their are, the more frequencies thay can each capture. Look back to first G3 tour, Satriani was just him, Stu and Jeff, and it was unreal! I perfer this different and really "raw" production.
I LOVE this song but this is one of the rare times I'll say this would have sounded better with a backing guitar track (or a session rhythm guitar player). Really pleased they added it to the setlist nonetheless. Always has been one of the best tracks from SA and fun to play on guitar.
AMAZING .. !! .. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 .. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 .. Ok .. Now form a new band , membered by : - Mike Portnoy on Drums ; - John Petrucci on Guitars ; - John Myung on Bass ; - Jordan Rudess on Keyboards ; - James LaBrie on Vocals .. Sounds interesting .. 🤔😺 .. 👍🏼👍🏼 .. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 ..
I like Petrucci a lot, but he's solo albums are not something I would listen through in one sitting. One song here and there is fine, but gets boring after a while. I do like to listen good instrumentals in general so it's not about missing the vocals. Playing is of course good and there are some nice sounding parts, but for instrumental this long I would like to see more development throughout the song.
The ability of John Petrucci to remember thousands and thousands of notes in each song he played is amazing.
He makes it look so easy!! Just amazing playing!!
Nice to see Portnoy and Petrucci together on stage.
Can't believe this song is being played live
You can see why he doesn’t usually! It’s so technically hard even he can’t play it live
@shawnbopko858
my dad should be up there with John petucci Jamin with the man John petucci
Portnoy is such a wizard with the cymbals. Never that oppressive mess. Just right. To go along with perfect snare-high hat- pedal.

MP + JP = GOAT
I dont know how to say about them , but the fact ' they have the same soul when they played their thing together '

So this is what Santa does the other 11 months of the year.
M.P. and J.P. do not need a bass player, keyboard player, vocalist, backing tracks or overdubs. These two make magic happen, alone!!
Satch Raspberry Jam much?
is Jhon Satriani oh Joe Petrucci ?? 🤣
Just let me breathe
Drum solo?
6:20
What Portnoy no spitting chunks at the guitarist?
cuando en halley a pappo lo escupian, les dijo...eso ya fue, eso era antes! jajaj!!!
He said he doesn't do that anymore because of c*vid
And he’s on his best behavior after the little break up.
nah, hes hired a lama for that!!
There's a serious need of a rythm guitar player here.
Драм соло я что то не увидел
Не досмотрел значит

The Moses look!
Andiamo!Forza!!!🇺🇦❤️🇮🇹💪👍❤️⚔️⚔️⚔️🙏
JP needs a rhythm guitarist
I totally agree, so much of Petrucci's style is enriched by having a fat, wide keyboard layer underneath .... or a rhythm guitar part, as you said.
coincido con vos, hermano!!!
Why? Sounds good to me. Next thing you’ll be saying he needs a vocalist. I think Rush did just fine!
His guitar and amp control the sun’s temp so I think it’s ok if he don’t have a rhythm lol
You all forget that he IS a rhythm guitarist... To Jordan Rudess
A thumb piano soloist would be greatly beneficial.
