Horseshoe bend does not have an HOA unless you buy a manor home (55 and older). Everything within city limits has to comply with city rules and regulations. Each lot does have MRID and SID assessments (average $100/year together) paid with county taxes annually, but these do not add additional restrictions. This is for maintenance of the golf courses and lakes, so you have access with ownership of any lot/home which you purchase. Each subdivision also has a bill of assurance for guidelines on building a home, but doesn't really affect a home already built.

I'm sorry the home in the video has sold (november). I have a home for sale in Cherokee VIllage for $330,000 on Lake Thunderbird. There is one home for sale in Horseshoe Bend for 1,850,000 on Crown Lake.
Within the city limits, there are city ordinances and bills of assurance for a subdivision. If that is not what you are looking for, there are plenty of acreages for sale surrounding the towns without restrictions
How diverse is that city? We bought a land there three years ago and I want to sell it.
