@@Chris-hw4mq Well, it's the cheapest electric car in the market if you take into account its size. If you compare the total fuel costs with other non electric car and you make 15K kilometers per year, you are probabbly saving 1000€ a year. Furthermore, several countries offer big discounts in price if you buy electric cars so the final price can be almost the same as a non electric vehicle.

Romanians bought about 2000 electric cars in 2020 and about 2000 Dacia Springs on its launch date. Safe to say it's gonna be a hit here.

Today I've learnt giving the correct signals approaching a roundabout and also that the Spring is not a so slow accelerating car as the media reports!

This car is just perfect for city use, cheap, simple, very light (under 1000kgs), big enough for people and to carry stuff around

Well... for only 44hp, that level performance is pretty stunning! Electric horsepower is definitely better.

Eh... the 0 to 100 km/h takes 19.1 seconds, and from 80 to 120 km/h it needs 26.2 seconds... dangerously slow
@ 125 Nm is not much. My current car feels slow, and it has 150 Nm…

We might Laugh at this car but it's going to sell well, especially to the senior customers who simply do not care how the car looks, how fast does it go or if it self parks in the drive way, all they want is something cheap to bring them to the supermarket and the bingo hall!

Je peux définitivement viver avec ceci. J'ai une Fiat 500 Abarth, alors la taille n'est pas un problème pour moi. Il faut juste que je m'habitue à ne plus entendre le moteur! 😁
Le seul regret est que Dacia n'est pas disponible en Amérique du Nord. Cependant, il y a des rumeurs que Lada reviendra au Canada. Peut-être Renault et Dacia viendront aussi, les voitures vendues chez les concessionnaires Nissan.

It's not just the video! I can confirm they are completely irregular. And this is a problem with many Renault for many years. Scenic 3 was already irregular. For me it's very annoying and showing the engineers don't care. Well the sound itself is also atrocious. VW group indicators are solid as a metronome!
@@reinulf656 seriously... That sucks man. If you wanna drive a car you'd want the impression that it's sturdy and it operates without random variability. You are spot on with the VW indicators as I drive a Golf GTE!

Ce qui me dérangerai le plus ce ne serait pas la petite puissance mais l'autonomie quand même assez faible si l'on ne peut recharger à domicile.
Par contre dans la phrase "Cette vidéo est une mise à la première personne de la conduite de la voiture présenté", il serait préférable de mettre un "e" à présentée.

For me the indicator's beep sounds awful. Very annoying, I hope it is something they can change.
I think this is due to legal need to have a noise for a EV in general in low speed...no, you can not switch this off.
It would have been nice if it was a bit more expensive but on par with the skoda citigo electric, which unfortunately is no longer for sale

On many French roads you can't drive over 80.
On dual carriage ways and motorways the speed limits, 110 and 130, are no real obstacles for this car.
I gather a bloke in Romania took one into an auto accessories shop and said to the server, "I want a windscreen wiper for my Dacia Spring please". The other guy replied, "Sounds about right!"

Cause of the speed
Because originally it was a gas powered car and it had hydraulic servo. They probably didn't modify the turning ratio when they moved to electric servo because it was cheaper.

thanks a lot for you comment but if you put four big passengers in the car and you go in the mountains the car will be in pain I have tried at 2 person 70 kilos both it struggled but it was a huge one.

salut, je reviens de l’avoir essayer et je la trouve sympa cette petite caisse.
bon, elle ne devrais pas faire fumer les pneu au démarrage ca c’est sur mais pour le prix..
elle arrive a ne pas se faire coincé par les camions et c’est le principal pour moi.
de toute façon, il faut changer les mentalité. je veut juste aller d’un point A a un point B. perdre 5 minutes sur la route ne me derange pas plus que cela.
départ ce matin de dacia a 100% batterie, j’ai fais le trajet domicile/ travail sois 70 km avec le pied lourd, la clim les feux l’autoradio et tout ce qui pouvais consommer du jus.température extérieur 3 degres, vent soutenu etc etc, condition non favorable donc..arriver chez moi 55% de batterie
elle s’appelle renault KZE en corée et n’est donc pas nouvelle sur le marché..

Est-ce que ça charge quand tu descends une colline? Quelle est l'autonomie moyenne (testée)?
Oui bien sûr à chaque fois qu'on est dans une descente ça recharge avec le frein moteur
Sur cet essai l'autonomie moyenne était environ 200 km

230 km WLTP so in the city you can reach it , if you go on motorway which is not made for it , arround 100km
1:00 I wish my Kwid had that feature. So annoying to open the boot with the key but again, lots of cost cutting was involved. Sounds very quiet and weird.

using the left indicator in a roundabout makes absolutely no sense....You only need the right one when you leave it. But: nice Video, interesting EV for the money, I am driveing a Dacia Dokker since 2014 and have not had any Problems so far......

In India this same specc car costs 8k. I get it , it is the shiping (cause they are made in china) and the few extras that need to be in this car to be legal in european streets , but double the price? Their are scamming us in Europe. Don't even bother with this car. Wait until they are actually cheap and buy them.

@ The motor and the autonomy are exactly the same. Also they are produced in the same factory. Apart from a few modifications for extra security in the cabin , it is the same car. 😊. Not exactly the same, i agree , but still the difference in price is ridiculous in my opinion. If the car costed around 10k in Europe many would buy it including myself. We have an obligation to save the planet too and the car industry should not only think of money, but our future generations too.
@ Yes, not exactly the same. The version sold in China is a genuine Renault, and looks more stylish. The European version is the more mundane and cheaper looking (but more expensive!) Dacia. It's a little annoying.
