Just curious if you'll be making the harness with some kind of quick disconnect for anyone who doesn't leave the tour pack on all the time.
Awesome job explaining how it fits different or after market trunks, newer and older style. I kept the trunk relocator slide adapters from my 2011 Electra Glide hoping I could put em on my new 2021 Road glide that i put an aftermarket trunk on and nope, won’t fit. Wasn’t thinking of the new style trunk from 14 and up so, gotta get a new one for the later models. Love your videos, u do good job explaining all the BS. Lol!👍🏻

I'm ordering a full King tour pack setup (in Stilleto Red) from AB and I'm more excited than I should be about a tour pack light!!! I've installed several different brands on other bikes and they were such a Pain in the A$$ to get right. this looks fantastic. I love the fact you include the harness for stuff light tour pack turn signals....looks like you guys thought of everything and it is highly appreciated!!!!

Just installed mine this week on my 21 SG. Went perfect except I did need to use a round rasp to make the hole for the wire/grommet a fraction bigger to get the plug through. Daisy chained it to my Custom Dynamics Magic Strobe. Now all my rear LED lights including bag lights work and flash bright as hell with the brakes

I must correct an earlier post. I was finally able to order the Reaper via Amazon; delivery to the APO AE. I live in Germany and have been running the Reaper for about 2 months. The major concern in Germany is long distance visibility while on the autobahn; the closing speeds are a bit higher. The Reaper has awesome visibility day and night. Installation was very simple (1 beard difficulty); direct replacement on a 2022 Ultra Limited, I relocated the FM antenna inside the tour-pack with the provided antenna.

After contacting several people and send a few emails and pictures. Got a replacement harness that was very well made. No one is perfect I appreciate them getting me the replacement harness as soon as they did.
The wiring harness one of the blue connectors the black wires came out. So I’m having to bypass one of my side lights on my tour pak to get the back light to work.
Install was fairly easy. Just put the template on drill the holes and cut the square. The wiring harnesses has grommet. You drill the hole with a tapered drill bit but it doesn’t tell you what size to drill it out to.
Been a week as of today still no word about the replacement part I’ve emailed advanblack, Amazon, and Steve on this channel I’ve even offered to purchase another harness.

Steve love your videos i have watched them all. I ordered the reaper for my OEM tour pack. the light comes with a shorty antenna my question is what is your recommendation for where to put it? i searched but could not find anything on it. Thanks Brady
Can this light be piggybacked into Custom Dynamics lighting or would I need completely separate connections.

It will fit the razor with a slight 1/4 inch hangover on the lip. and smoke will be available in 4 weeks.

I have one question and it's related to the Ciro 3D "Streak" trunk light.
Can these two lights be connected together inside the tour pack so there's only 1 plug coming out of the bottom of the tour pack?
I also left a similar message over on that video just in case you get to that one first.
Any plans to make one for the '13 and under tour packs?

Steve. If you currently have the Harley version on your bike. This should just be a simple take off and put back on plug and play since all the holes are drilled and cut correct?
I have just purchased the razor tour pack i want to put the reaper light on it but i am concerned with the 1/4" hangover does anyone have a picture of what it looks like

will this be available with smoked lenses? also, ever thought about offering "pre-installed" options.. say if someone ordered the tour pack and wanted get this too and have it come assembled? that'd be a great option/service for those who are weary of drilling holes and such..
Yes so how that works is if you order a tour pack and it ships from the ware house and its already painted and boxed ready to ship you will need to drill it yourself. If the tour pack you want is on order for the paint then they will pre drill it. We try to keep some stock already painted so the customer gets the pack faster. If you they call in and request the pre drill im sure they will work it out

1 Inc hold for the lights was to small for me can't get the plugs through. Not sure if I should make it bigger want the gramit to fit...

Steve, I just purchased the "Reaper" for my Tour Pak in the "Smoke" lens ---question: Does the lense separate (easily) from the base? I`m thinking to have the black base painted to color match my tour pak. Any advise?---thank you and Happy New Year.
Hey Stan..It is not meant to separate...its all sealed up to protect the LEDS

I received my Light today. Does the wiring harness support the side lights acting as Turn Signals? I already have the CD side lights that are Brake/Turn Signals.
The extra ports in the wire harness are aux power only and will not support turn signals. Very good question!
I have a OEM spoiler brake light on my tour pack. Will it connect to the harness in the tour pack or the splitter under the seat?
If it has the small molex connectors like in the video it will plug in.

Yes it will
Does the tour pak liner fit probably with this light and all the cables etc?
You will have some adjustment do to the plug but the velcro will hold your liner down.

I don't see a quick disconnect on the wiring harness for removing the tour pack. Is this an option, or a different wiring harness option with a quick disconnect? The light looks great and much better than the oem version.
it unplugs under the seat. Its quick disconnect.
@@Advanblack Taking the seat off is not a 'quick disconnect' when going to remove the tour pack. There should be a waterproof disconnect plug under the tour pack as the wiring goes under the seat. Thanks for the reply.

We will be at strugis this year at the Harley Davidson dealership in Rapid City. I know last year our dealer had some extra time to install some for an additional cost. However, that is solely up to him and his description on time and availability

It will fit however there will be about a 1/2 inch over hang at the bottom.
I ordered this light and I was not so Lucky the templet was off had to drill the holes twice. I rate it 6 out ten.
The template is dead on for the lights. As I stated in the video you will need to make sure the template will fit your tour pack before you drill specially if the tour pack is not advanblacks.
@@Advanblack the light does not fit Harley chopped tour pack it has a over hang to the front and did not look good at all ended up buying the new Harley light which fits much better.

Does the King Tour Pak have a removable seat? Does the OEM King Tour Pak have the ability to put lights on from Harley or does Advan Black only allow LEDs on AB King Tour Pak? Harley has told me that if I buy a King Tour Pak for a Street Glide Special, I can't get led lights for it but that was like 2016. Not sure if times have changed now. Also, I really don't want that seat that comes with the King Tour Pak. No one rides with me so it's pointless.
Yes the seat is removable however you will have 3 mounting holes for the bolts you will need to plug. If the lights fit a harley tour pack they will fit ours.

Yes chopped and king
Is there a QD option fornthe harness? I don't want the tour pack on all the time, and removing the seat and changing the wiring around isn't ideal.
you dont have to change the wiring around, its a y splitter, just release the harness for the tour pack and no, no one makes a connection that is outside of the seat. If you are already taking the entire tour pack off you only need to remove one more screw to release your seat, lift it in the back and unplug it.

Yes it does. I have the Custom Dynamics module on my bike

Any discount codes? Custom Dynamics has their ProBean LED Tour Pak light out too. Their price is $25 less.
No codes at this time. You cannot see each induvial LED light in our tour pack lights giving off a much cleaner looking light. Also ours includes the wire harness, theirs does not. additional 54.99 Theirs is also for OEM models equipped with tour pack. Meaning you will use existing holes in the tour pack to mount it. Excluding all other tour packs that do not have existing holes. Ours comes with a template so you can add this to any tour 14 and up tour pack. 422.90 total with harness added and only works on models with pre existing holes for a tour pack light. Or ours at 399.99 and can be put on any 14 up tour pack.

@@Advanblack ordered yhe smoked, however a 4 week wait time. Can't understand why you would release a product but not have it in stock.
So I am the owner of a small shop in the SF Bay area and have a customer who has brought in this light set out of the box and with no instructions or template for the installation. I tried calling your customer care help line to get one and never got a call back after it sent me to voice mail. also tried the online chat and rep Hayden sent me this video link. He then after explaining to him that i understood the process but still didn't have the template to cut the bag with for install. He was kind of mocking at this point. So I am trying to get the template still. Yes my customer f*&^ed up buy throwing away stuff he didn't understand, but still I need this template. Would you either send me one or have a link to a printable copy?
