Another alternative to the non removal mount is to install locking latches on the mount. Harley sells them for $78 or Amazon knockoffs are approximately $45.
Looks great! I used a small zip tie & placed between the detachable bracket push button release and the lock latch. This will prevent the engaging of the release button. Ride Safe!
Yeah great deal. Got mine about a month ago from Advanblack. I didn’t know it was imported when I ordered it though . But , color is a perfect match on my white sand pearl . I got mine with black hardware already attached . Enjoy
Seems to me most people would have loosely mounted the 4-pt frame to the tour-pak and then mounted the 4-pt frame w/tour-pak mounted. If you are concerned about someone stealing your tour-pak, buy the locking latch mechanisms. They come in pairs. Surprised your other bike still has a rigid mount. So easy to replace. Maybe that's a video for another day. Always enjoy the unique perspectives you provide.
You could do that too. In Advanblacks install video, they completely mounted the tour pack to the frame BEFORE mounting it to the bike. I didn't see the point of the extra step. I also wanted to show how the frame mounted to the 4pt dock.
Great video. Very informative and you did a great job on the camera angles to show all of the steps without blocking camera field of view. That's a huge thing these days I see a lot of people doing and it often times creates confusion. Your video was spot on. I just wish AdvanBlack wasn't so pricey. Happy New Year. Looking forward to seeing more of your content.
Just got my advanblack king tourpack today but fedex didnt have my mount yet ugh, i was so excited to get this thing installed. I got the luggage rack to install on top of the tour pack for those long rides with the wife. Anyhow, great vid as always.
Great video sir, just got my king tour pack yesterday and can't wait to install it. Also ordered the liner today which should be here Wednesday or thusday.
Nice video! I'm thinking of maybe buying a king tour pak from Advanblack, but have heard that numerous riders who have bought these tour paks have had problems with the latches opening even locked if that possible. What has been your opinion after installing one? Any problems? Thanks!
I've been asking myself the same question!😂 my plan has been to use this street glide as a practice bike (for rodeos) and riding around the city. My Road Glide is my long distance bike. I want the option of using the SG as a long distance bike....but I don't want all the gear on it all the time.

great video , beautiful colour, and the liner is awesome looking

Mine lasted 2 riding seasons and the plastic broke around the latch. Needless to say I went ahead and purchased stock. No problems thus far.

Thanks for the feedback!
That liner looks great. The top liner I wouldn't use though, gotta have a spot to put my stickers!
Beautiful!!! Love the color match locks
I like the liner coming with it.
gotta buy it. It does NOT come with it.
Sharp looking tourpak and liner. Good install video.

Thanks! I'd check out the tourpack liner too if you haven't already done so! They are awesome
LOVE that red, man! You know, black hardware on the tour pack and bags would look cool also!
Good point! But I would have to change my saddle bags too....not a bad idea! I am really loving the red/black contrast.
@@RidingandWrenching Yup, hey it's only money right!
Great installation, Cue!
Nice video. Looks great. Both bikes are beautiful! Enjoy & ride safe.
Looks really good. Great video as always 👍

You're going to love it!
I did this on my 2021 Road Glide. 😊
Looks nice. Now you need the Advanblack reaper light bar for the back of the tour pak. I just installed mine it’s sweet..💪🏾
I was looking at that! It looks sweet!
There should be locking bracket latch available somewhere. I had one on a Harley detachable backrest.
Excellent Video
Looks good brother

That looks great!……For a street glide😉😂
Looks great! Adjustment on backrest, tilt forward or back?
The passenger backrest is fixed. It doesn't move
Nice 👍👍👍
Never understood why people just don’t buy a limited
