Whats the size of your tank , I am cycling a 120litre juwel lido at the moment so interested to see how many I could put in , it is very heavily planted and was thinking of 7 or 8
burrell755 Jayme is right. I would suggest 6 peas. Mine is 180 litre and I have ended up with 5 males and 3 females which is pretty bad but because they have plenty of space whilst they chase a bit they rarely actually go to bite each other. If it’s heavily planted ect 6 peas would do very well I think.
Venice Jose Hey! Had them for about 4 months now. Had trouble keeping baby puffs so starting buying the largest ones in store and that worked much better for me. They are soooo cute! : )
@@peapufferkingdom118 oh nice!! I have some too. They were given to me a couple of months ago. I had no knowledge of them at all. Your videos have helped me a lot. I sure love these little guys. My water dogs ❤
Dannylands 394 As long as they are from a healthy tank in your local fish store or you breed them yourself you should be absolutely fine mate. I have never had problems with pond snails.
Pea Puffer Kingdom well I just went through a quarantine deworming process with API general cure, and I recently purchased some pest snails from my local fish store that I’m breeding, but Im scared to feed them to the puffers incase they have worms. I cant seem to find anything online to deworm snails or ensure they dont have parasites.
Dannylands 394 You should be absolutely fine Feeding the snails to your peas. If you want to breed them then leave the snails for a few weeks to start laying a bunch of eggs.
Austin Eckrote That should be fine. Make sure the amanos aren’t baby size as they could get picked to pieces but that should work great. 2 amanos, 4 Khuli and 3 peas would be cool.
Man.. Are they on a diet? My group are fat and healthy.. That wee straight stomach thing isn't good... Oh.. Before you ask I've 4males, 6 females, and a grow out tank with 20 or so baby puffers... Live food is the difference between emaciated and healthy...
Ohhh they are so cute! I love them so much, I have a couple of them and they are just adorable and they're like puppies whenever I go to their tank😊💖
They are totally like water puppies. I always get drawn back to the tank. They are so interesting to watch.
Been wanting to do a pea puffer species tank for awhile! Great tank man!
jpbkid Thanks!
Love the video. 75g PeaPuffers tank doing great
Lori Venker Sweet! How many males and females do you have or is it too early to tell?
What filters are you using?

burrell755 rule of thumb is 5 gallons per fish and 3 gallons per additional fish 😊

Do you know if live snails can give the puffers parasites?

If BFP is suppose to mean Big Puffer Fish, you might want to change the acronym around
