    All the fish looks properly healthy and they keep showing up in videos months apart - that is so much better than seeing endless videos of 'new fish' from channels which just kill them off.
    Looking forward to seeing those puffers breed for sure.

      @MARKSAQUATICS  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes I'm looking forward to it. Bred them few years back now. The trick is catching the adults spawning and then removing them as they will eat the eggs if found.

Just got some puffers (13 of them) can only see 8 so far, it’s heavily planted so they’re hiding I hope. I’ve seen 2 that haven’t made it but they were pencil thin like you say. Afternoon Mark,
    Trust you are well, firstly thank you for the content you put up on here, I am sure I’m not alone in saying it’s one of the best (along with pondguru) channels for true fish keeping hobbyists.
    I have a small request I would like you to consider for content on a future video, if not any help/advise would be warmly welcomed.
    Topic is: Mixing Chiclids with “non specialist community fish” is there any that can live successfully together? For example a tank with livebearers, Tetras and gourami and is there any chiclids that can co- exist with them or is it a out and out no no.

    • @MARKSAQUATICS
      @MARKSAQUATICS  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The thing is with cichlids is they are very territorial and quite predatory so best kept on the own.

    What do the bloodworms turn into as adults? I've noticed them appear and live in the filter sponge of my garden pond over the years. They always show up in mid to late June so I assume they're a larva stage of another insect. Anyways, just a random though.
