About Alien Romulus:
Alien: Romulus is an upcoming American science fiction horror film. It is the seventh installment in the Alien franchise and is set between the events of Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986). Directed by Fede Álvarez, who co-wrote it with Rodo Sayagues, the film was produced by Scott Free Productions and Brandywine Productions. It stars Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced, Spike Fearn, and Aileen Wu.
The film is scheduled to be theatrically released by 20th Century Studios on August 16, 2024.

Completely agree! The only reason I mentioned the first two movies was to say that I thought the first was more of a classic horror while the second was more of an action movie (although, of course, with lots of horror elements!) I really like how much this world has been built out over the decades, even including the AvP movies! Even the movies that were far from perfect, added something to the overall world.

Can't wait for this film. I think Fede Alvarez is going to scare the shit out of us, make us squirm/feel uncomfortable, and make us feel at the end of it "WTF did I just watch?!!"

I seldom go to see movies these days in a proper theater but, if the trailer is any indication, I’m going to have to make an exception in this case. This looks spectacular!

According to newly released rumours,the story starts with a spaceship discovering the remains
of the first xenomorph from the alien movie.They bring it to the nearest spacestation and extract it
for eggs which creates the facehuggers.Then the whole spacestation gets infected and all the humans
dies,and leaves a big xenomorph hive behind.
When contact is lost with the other spacestations.A spaceship is sendt to investigate.
Then a battle breaks out,and only one off the investigators manage to escape.
Or did she? In the end we see that she also is infected and she sets the escapepod to self construct,but
before that happens,the escape pod lands on a unknown planet with small humanlike beings,but with blue skin.
And that makes a cliffhanger for a follow-up movie ?

Pardon me, I’m going around requesting people to watch the series Sweet Tooth, because I really enjoyed the third season but I noticed no one had uploaded a reaction for the season finale. I was disappointed so I hope you two could check out the show since I found that many stopped watching after the first season😅 Thank you!

Thanks for the recommendation! As you mentioned, we watched the first season and never went back to watch the rest; not sure why at all! Definitely going to take your advice and see how the story unfolds after that, as the first season was excellent!
