- In this video we take a look at our latest purchase of the Actor bait boat from Boatman.
Having purchased after March 2021 we show the new battery fitment within the boat.
Coming in at around £200 we think this bait boat is an ideal budget solution to get you onto the water with a bait boat!

Just got the new vulcan. Im working my way through your vida from the start. Interested to see how much this impacts your catch rate. Its just filled me with more confidence knowing my hook baits definitely over the main feed area. Always wonder when spodding am i a meter or two or even more out. Cabt wait to actually try it out.
I've got one of these with GPS. I also have a Deeper on an arm at the back to check out the bottom of the lake out. Good bit if kit. Not really convinced about the GPS though. Good for bringing the boat back with one press of the button but I find its not very accurate but for the price you can't complain. I bought mine second hand and had to take it apart as it wasn't working but sorted it out and now gets used in place of my Lake Reaper, which are good boats but the batteries in them make them very heavy.

No more tree trout lol loving the bait boat .One question do they come with different band settings for the radio controler ? Would be a nightmare if more than one person using one .

I gave mine its maiden voyage at old mill lakes the day we met.
It bagged me a PB.
The GPS version has a fail safe in case you lose signal possibly remote going flat,it'll return to you automatically.
For the dosh well worth it.🤘

We definitely will be Chris. It’s a bit of a game changer for putting rigs in those awkward spots, and will also allow us to be more accurate when replacing the rig. Add it to the list mate 😂 We’re starting to think it’s a must have accessory 👌

Boats are great where they will let you use them,.... most fisheries won’t only an hand full mostly syndicate will let you. Bait poles are great but most people don’t practice and give them a chance when your used to them they are a breeze.
Fair enough mate. Most of the day ticket venues we fish allow bait boats... 🙂
There isn’t a day ticket venue here in the midlands that allows boats full stop due to announce to other anglers. Your lucky if your able to use boats that why bait poles are so popular.
Wow really!!! That’s mental! Up north boats are generally allowed so long as you respect other anglers swims etc

Button on the outside not the inside, will give the value back In convenience over time. And the side lights.
How much have you felt the bait boat has helped your fishing?
Massively mate and this is for 2 main reasons. 1 being able to get rigs in uncastable areas. 2 the ability to bait up nice and stealthy 🥷
