You should always use old line for backing.. Fill em up then put on distance sticks take 40 wraps off then you will always oy need 200 yards per spool. Simples

Why didn’t you use the spool clips that come with them so you can reduce the amount of line used for each reel.

Either use the spool reducers or get a cheap spool of sea fishing line and use as backing, that way you’ll only need to buy/replace with your chosen line 👍

You usually put backing line on your reels first so 1000 meters will easily do 3 reels.

Have a look at the fox adjustable zigs, they have a recess for a piece of rig foam, and you can drop the lead if you need to.

Lol the reels come with spool clips so you don't use line u will never use

Get the avid bivvy and solar chair wayne you wont regret it both are class

I’ve got the 5500 xtds and love them! Awesome reels, can use the spacers to reduce the capacity and get all 3 reels full for less

I have the same reels on my 10ft rods excellent reels had them a few years ago. I got new reels and rods of Santa but my syndicate is closed until march 1st so doing the odd day session until it opens again cheers

Are you allowed to walk round to look at the venue but not fish?

Licences one for coarse and non migratory trout. One for migratory fish and Salmon. Sea fishing generally no licence required.
