I know the cards in the set....I come to watch it opened in a fun way, not just to see the cards. Anyway, big fan!

i have cracked 24 boxes and there seems to be some pretty good boxes like this out there. Best box I had was westvale abbey, foil westvale abbey, foil arlinn kord, jace, sorin, avacyn, and 2 thing in the ice.
my pal at prerelease had a god pack... Sorin as the rare, Arlinn Kord as the flip, and a foil Hahiri. it was INSANE. Everybody in the shop was yelling and jumping around it was crazzzy

Here is what happens with the Innistrad packs because obviously it is confusing and I'm sure to a lot of other people as well: For a regular (no Double Face Cards) set, you get 9/10 Commons, 3 Uncommons, 1 R or Mythic Rare and then depending on if you had 9 or 10 Commons, you might get a Foil that can be any of the cards in that set from any rarity. For Innistrad though, each pack is guaranteed to have at least 1 DFC card, so the distribution is actually: 8/9 Commons (non DFC), 3 Uncommons (non DFC), 1 Rare (non DFC), 1 DFC (Common or Uncommon only) and then depending on if you had 8 or 9 commons, there could be another slot in the pack that is filled by other a Foil card that can be any card in the set from any rarity, or a Rare or Mythic Rare DFC. Hope this helps clear things up.
withing about the first 15 packs I've opened of soi, including a pre-release pack, fatpack and a box, I somehow managed to pull 3 archangel avacyn. all together i've also pulled 6 westvale abbey, one of which was foil as well. Talk about crazy luck

I did pretty horribly (I'm still getting the hang of limited), but the first round was a draw, so we rolled dice for the pack. Lost the second round. If you won two rounds, you got 3 packs in total. So I got the bye on the third round, won two more packs... and pulled an Avacyn. It was both an unsuccessful and very successful pre-release for me.
Dude, Altered Beast is such a sweet game, I'm kinda young for it (18), but I remember playing the booty off that game at my grandpa's house. So much fun!

Do double flipcard boosters appear at the same rate as foil boosters? and is it possible to get teo flip cards AND a foil in one pack (the foil not being the second flip card)?
I find it interesting that my boosters have the flipcards before the uncommons and yours are after the rare. They must have produced them differently for the European market.

If you had gotten an Arlinn with Nahiri, you got 2 Planeswalkers to make the Aggressive-Silent Death type of deck! But, much worry on Sorin, Grim Nemesis and Avacyn. For Sorin, if you got a Jace with it, you good for a Undead type of deck. Nahiri and Arlinn I have and I was one of these days going to make the Aggro/Silent Kill deck, with 2 Planeswalkers as a tag-team type of play...

I think Shadow boxes are just insane by nature. I opened a box with 6 good mythics, and almost all good rares. I just love this set!
