I started playing around the release of Rise of the Eldrazi; my local Walmart happened to have a couple deck builder's tool kits and 2 Worldwake fat packs. I bought one of each and pulled a JTMS in each, I was pretty happy. Though, at the time I was unaware of his value and how broken he is. I sold one last month for $140 and kept the other in my EDH deck.

Also, I would not mind seeing the orginal ravnica block being opened, or Lorwyn, but as rtr is the current block it might be fun to take a look at a box from the 3 sets of the orginial ravnica.

Buy a box of the original Mirrodin! That's like a $1,000 box, and it has some sweet cards! Darksteel and Fifth Dawn are cool too, but Mirrodin is the best.
FYI, those are NOT dual lands, they are called "Man lands" because you pay a cost and they turn into a creature until the end of turn. dual lands will always refer to the original 2 color lands, and they are called "dual lands" because they are 2 lands in the form of 1. sorry if this comes across as arrogant, but its a pet peeve of mine.

Any land that taps for two colors is called a dual land. The original duals are called the ABU duals, and these are called manlands, but those are both the nicknames used to differentiate between these two different types of dual lands. Sir.
I feel like a real chump, right when the Zendikar block rotated my ex and I were hurting for money and we were both fortunate enough have each pulled a foil Jace. We sold them off for a total of $300. If only we'd have held onto them I'd be look at at least $800... fuck.. xD
can you take any random (old) lands to standard events? i know it'd seem stupid not to allow them but i'm not sure about the whole ethos of the irl magic world
