Not as much hype for this kit mainly because of BD’s bad rep and the bad rep the MG Age-2 line got due to misinformed, hyperbolic reviews from some people. Its opinions like these that give good kits a bad rap (like the MG Xbone). You actually take time to build your kits carefully so all of them turn out great.
MG line has been pretty beat down lately so I hope you do more so MGs can start to get back it’s rep again.
MG just ain't for me. Not till more GX happens.

I almost skipped this kit. I've since built it and almost sold it, but looking at it, it is such a good looking kit. I think I'm gonna go back and panel line it as it was one of many kits i started out just snap building.
Im guessing the white version would be another pbandai?

Since the "real one" in the show is a 1/144, this MG is a 100/144 scale kit.
Edit: I mean 144/100
Or... Just a 1/100 scale of the version in GBN. This joke doesn't really work anymore with Build Divers.

I agree this doesn't have much hype with it, the Dynamese eclipsed this release, plus AGE just isn't that popular compared to 00. But honestly the HG AGE kits I've got have all been solid imo. So this is my first MG AGE purchase.
Also does the AGE 1 have the shoulder issue as well as the AGE 2?

The AGE 1 doesn't have as much weight on the shoulders so not really

Imo they need an SV accessory kit for this. Or release an SV variant like they did with the HG. SV Phoenix Mode looks better to me.
But, all in all, great kit. Love the ''actual'' transformation. Even tho you said its a headache.

How the Dark Purple parts on this ? I remember people telling it was a pain to clean up the nubs on it.
It is still a plan to clean up. Just do your best when sanding
Well you can just make the HG on phoenix mode then the MG on Ms mode only..

Really, really, really hope they make the Grimoire Red Beret. Having the two HGs battling is how I display my kits. I would love to have two MG versions of them.
The Age 2 magnum is basically what I would make if GBN was real....if it didn't already exist. So my question to everyone: what custom would YOU make? Those of you who play gundam breaker. That's allowed as well. But to add to the mix what would you name your creation? I'll leave mine down below.

My....gunpla......ever since I started with the Lunagazer gundam I knew I would customize and create something that rivals bandai. And it all began......with two words the came from my mouth out of pure inspiration: STARLIGHT. WALTZ. A gundam that's main base is the Lunagazer. Mixed with the blue destiny unit 02 for the EXAM system, and one of the 00 gundams for TRANS-AM. creating a new system altogether. Multi. Assault. Verbal. Intelligence. System. Or M.A.V.I.S system for short. Creating a blood red color with after images that last about 0000.45.6 seconds (45 seconds) combine that with launcher Lumier and the solar sail system.....you got a gundam with unmatched strength and speed. As it is a prototype suit it only has one real permanent weapon. Gatling guns in the arms are those weapons along with them is a beam rapier, two Desert eagle pistols, a shield that fires missiles, four Sazabi style funnels (two per shoulder), the Lunagazer beam riffle, possibly gundam beals / wing zero hono's swords, and a high powered modified bazooka. The backpack is based off of the Lunagazer but the thrusters are replaced with four small GN drives however the wings have been replaced with ibo style arms that hold ether two shields, a shield and bazooka, or a Dover gun. The colors are: off grey, pearl white/ Lunagazer white, and a shade of blue known as Blue dust. It keeps some of the Lunagazer, mainly the feet, chest, and some modified arm an shoulder armour. It is the gunpla for Lost Ones Soul. Leader of the force known as Babylon or The unicorn vanguard.
People prefer part swapping because MGs can be rather tedious.

Great review but a small tip: use a darker background, the white parts and details on those parts of the model are barely seen because of the white background.
a grey background for a white gunpla would suit it perfectly specially if its secondary colors are close to black
It's really nice as a "filler" MG. For the last couple years it seems like bandai's been leaning harder in big, grand, "spectacle" MGs that are either super crazy like the ver Kas or insanely popular fan requests like Dynames and Jegan. It's so refreshing to just see a nice, mid range MG like this to shake things up.
Wonder if they will release an expansion set or a pbandai sp version.
okay so the joints in the arms being the one down side isn't that bad guess i'll get it.
Now to wait for the P-Bandai SV Version.
I think I prefer the 00 Sky to the 00 Diver, but before that, I still want my MG AGE III and MG AGE-FX.
I’m not a fan of those funnels. Everything else looks pretty neat.
I felt the volume level of the music was a little too loud at some portions of the review, biggest example being the transition at 8:46

The MG Dynames release is one in my opinion the series hype died down too... it was good but I don't know lol

Joking aside, this isn’t my kind of kit. I just don’t like transforming kits in general. Plus, it looks like I’m gonna cut myself handling this, as I like fiddling and posing my kits a lot.
I have a figma BRSB, the pointiest figma out there. Didn't complain because I lo e it. Kek... your reasoning is just weak.
Joeie Rivera imagine having to build that pointy figma you have.... ouch. Also, as I said, I just don’t like transforming kits in general. Doesn’t mean this kit sucks, I know.

I still keep to it that Victory has better suits than AGE. I mean the V2? 😍👏. The ver Ka sucks. But the design is great.
