I am going blind with macular degeneration.
But sounds really do mean a lot.

Like all great musicians, Dame Evelyn plays with her whole body. Here it's very noticeable. Young musicians, take note!

I have one bought in the 90's that is very decorative with a parrot on top. Thanks for the demo

What I wouldn't give to spend just one day with you in your studio! Your joy is so infectious and your talent so overwhelming. Could you share who makes the smaller square one you demonstrate at 2:12. You are a wonder! Greetings from New Hampshire, USA.

Thank you for your kind comment. Strangely, this rain tree does not have a makers mark on it but I believe it is distributed by Atlas Music in New York. It is quite wonderous. Since this video was made, I have the addition of a 33 minute long sounding rain tree by Schlagwerk Percussion. That is definitely the longest sounding instrument in The Collection! Thank you again.

I hit the bell and I hit subscribed.
The third stick you used truly was very nice surprising what length it had as far as rainfall.
Some people probably like you and I we just love certain sounds.
You are just as beautiful as your rain sticks
    Ummmm

Evelyn, I have to show you some of the rain sticks that I make you might like them a lot. I don’t only is the position and how you hold them important as you said you’re the only person I’ve ever heard say this the same thing I do about how to make the sound consistent without a break. There is a couple of techniques that I can demonstrate that I’m sure you know already but The thing that I wanted to let you know, there’s some things that just don’t sound like those ones you have I have ones that sound like water and when it all even it means the material on the insides even the same kind of material basically I make a change that I have different arrangements of the towels on the inside and different sizes and different sizes of material And I’ve discovered that the most resident and most beautiful sound close to water. Are those Rain stick made from Gourds and I’ve made years and as soon as I put together a video, I’ll send it to you of ancient Mexico from my ancestors point of view. You might like that too, always admire your work and love what you do And how you explain things so well
