Of course I would need help from our talented musical community. Offering to create their own unique tranquil music that will ease their transition. Marcia Marchant

    The one you used to make wind sounds, is actually aztec whistle. They were made to mimic the sound of peoples screams when they were dying in very tragic ways. which makes it seem very unsettling to me, but i love all the other sounds. You have a good sense of sound and how it feels to create beautiful things. Peace be with you friend.

    I enjoyed all of it! I have a 6 foot rainstick & a kalimba that both belonged to my Dad. I really love those seed pods & am surprised at those whistles. Can you explain how the "thunder drum" mech works? How in the world does it produce such a low & loud sound?! I'd like to hear some electric processing/modification on the Kalimba & flutes ~ just to make it more "other wordly" sounding.
    As for a title ... maybe "Across the Amazon"?

    • @WORLDDRUMCLUB
      @WORLDDRUMCLUB  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you - The "Thunder Tube" amplifies the vibration of the spring through the head. The spring vibrates at a low rate and therefore, sounds low-pitched when amplified via the head. You can find lots of "thundertubes" online and at your favorite music shop. I like the hand-made version, which is a little harder to find. Will keep your suggestions in mind for digital processing.

    My Grade 3 class in Cambridge, Ontario thought your performance was really cool and interesting! We liked how you created the sound of a rainstorm. We think the piece should be called "Instruments in a Storm."

    This is fascinating! The way each instrument flows amazes me. Where can I get a list of all the instruments on your table ? If you can provide it for me, I’ll greatly appreciate it. Thanks !
