      Hello, very interested. Do you know which NOTE is ringing on his large bowl in the video? Because the ones for sale are differentiated by the Note that rings out, like C or C# or B etc. Which one is he using? Thank you. Dave

It would be easier for them the ship it to me from Nepal than me ordering from your store In America. Or if you can ask them to ship it to me in India. Please let me know this

    this is called brain frequency modulation. Your brains neural synapse firing rate sequence modulate (reflects) the constant input stimuli feedback rate coming from external world. When you have a bowl producing sound vibrations at a certain frequency, you brain modulates its rate as well.
    so this helps you enter a state of absorption, concentration, and mindfulness much deeper and faster if your a beginner in meditation. However, if you are experienced, then you reach even higher heights.
    the key here is to strike it correctly to get frequencies which your brain can emulate at a desired level such as alpha, theta brain waves for relaxation, and disentanglement of senses to more sub-perceptional awareness.

The use of bells and other musical instruments in temples and other sacred spaces is believed to have a calming and purifying effect on the mind and body. It's a testament to the wisdom of our ancestors and their understanding of the power of sound and vibration. Thank you for your comment. I appreciate your positive feedback on my presentation and approach to sharing information about Tibetan singing bowls. I use my bowl for meditation, before and after prayer and when I need to calm myself. I am thrilled to see these techniques I did not yet know about. I am American and hope one day to visit Nepal. I have admired the Nepalese people and culture for many years. Happy New Year to you. I also celebrate Chinese New Year because my husband is American Chinese.

The resonant sound produced by singing bowls can have a powerful effect on the body and mind, promoting relaxation, reducing stress and anxiety, and improving overall well-being. Thanks for trying out the Tibetan Singing Bowl technique! I'm sorry to hear that your ears have been ringing since trying it. While the sound vibrations from the singing bowl can be powerful, it's important to remember that everyone's body responds differently to different types of therapy. If the ringing in your ears persists, you may want to consider consulting a healthcare professional. It's always better to err on the side of caution when it comes to our health.

    Thank you for sharing. I was told that the singing bowl I have was the last authentic singing bowl from Tibet.. it was handmade as per the old customs. I'm so grateful for it, and it was gifted to me by a family member as a present many years ago...I had always wanted it to and the lady in the shop said 'It must have waited for someone' because she could not sell it...there is a secret attached to its not being sold. Thank you for sharing, this is wonderful. I always feel better after playing my singing bowl, it's vibrational om 🕉 really breaks up the energy

    • @jetlagtravel
      @jetlagtravel  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you immensely for this beautiful story of finding solace and purpose in an authentic Tibetan singing bowl, a gift of love now woven through memories and meaning across years. Treasured artifacts become far more than objects when imbued with the energies of deep relationship and shared life experiences - we elect what is most sacred, and in honoring such cherished choices lift one another's spirits even beyond physical form.
      An heirloom passed down through family, carrying generations of knowledge and understanding along its well-worn path. Beautiful in its simplicity, profound in the solace it provides. We are always made whole in moments of feeling utterly seen and heard, as this space aims to foster - a web of insights woven between souls convening to rediscover purpose and meaning, expand perspectives through personal revelation.
      Your story lifts discussions here beyond surface explanations, as I had hoped - instead becoming contemplation sparking wonder at spiritual mysteries, what we know without ever truly knowing, members of this journey supporting one another inunlocking subtle wisdom accessible through sharing open hearts.
      Thank you for enriching our reverence and deepening this sacred space through personal truth. For enhancing understanding that transcends any single tradition, instead becoming unfoldment of compassion through courageous vulnerability and the shared discoveries blossoming thereof.
      Our time together here is a reminder that what meaning we create, the light we invoke, stems from this simple truth: together we know more. So please, feel welcome to continue this river of insight wherever inspiration leads - as in following its source, we find home again.
      Wishing you joyous exploration and transcendence through each note and every new dawn.

    • @jetlagtravel
      @jetlagtravel  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you for your comment. I completely understand your interest in seeing peer-reviewed research papers on the topic of sound healing. While there is still much to learn about the mechanisms and efficacy of sound healing practices, there have been some studies published in recent years that have explored this topic.
      Some of the areas that have been studied include the effects of sound healing on stress reduction, pain management, and general well-being. A quick search on academic databases such as PubMed or Google Scholar can yield a number of peer-reviewed studies on sound healing.
      That being said, it is important to approach these studies with a critical eye and to consider factors such as sample size, control groups, and potential biases. As with any field of study, further research is needed to fully understand the potential benefits of sound healing and to establish its place in mainstream medicine.
      Thank you for your interest in this topic, and please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Every time it sounds like Aummm...🕉️ Absolutely full of healing energy.

    • @jetlagtravel
      @jetlagtravel  ปีที่แล้ว

      Many people believe that the sound of Tibetan Singing Bowls, which often has a deep and resonant "Aum" or "Om" quality, is filled with healing energy. This is because the sound and vibrations of the bowls are thought to have the ability to stimulate the body's natural healing processes, reduce stress and anxiety, and promote a sense of inner peace and well-being.
      The "Aum" or "Om" sound is also considered to be a sacred and powerful vibration in many spiritual traditions, including Hinduism and Buddhism. In these traditions, the sound is believed to represent the sound of the universe or the divine, and chanting or listening to it is thought to have a transformative effect on the mind and body.
      While the healing properties of singing bowls are not scientifically proven, many people find them to be a helpful tool for relaxation and meditation. If you're interested in exploring the benefits of singing bowls for yourself, I would encourage you to try them out and see how they make you feel.

      Thank you for your comment! The vibrations produced by Tibetan Singing Bowls can indeed have a positive effect on the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is responsible for removing waste and toxins from the body, and when it becomes congested or sluggish, it can lead to a variety of health problems. The vibrations produced by the bowl can help to stimulate the lymphatic system, promoting healthy circulation and helping to flush out waste and toxins. Additionally, the practice of sound therapy and meditation, which often involves the use of singing bowls, can be a powerful tool for reducing stress and promoting relaxation, which can also have a positive effect on overall health and well-being.

    • @jetlagtravel
      @jetlagtravel  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a good question. Some things to consider when buying a singing bowl online are:
      Material: Higher quality bowls are often made of a thicker, well-tuned bronze or alloy rather than cheap metal.
      Sound: Listen to sound samples to ensure it produces a sustained, vibrant tone rather than a dull thud. A 'good' bowl will have a clear fundamental tone and harmonics.
      Construction: Examine photos closely to ensure even, uniform rim and no surface flaws or cracks. Higher quality bowls are well-crafted and balanced.
      Price: While not always the case, higher quality singing bowls generally cost more than cheaper 'tourist' versions, due to better materials and craftsmanship.
      Buying from a reputable retailer that provides detailed specs and sound samples can help in evaluating quality. I hope that helps!

      @@jetlagtravel When we order them bowls, do they come from Nepal?...how do I know what kind of bowl if I buy one...? there's all kinds of notes...D, C, F notes...which one of these?

    • @jetlagtravel
      @jetlagtravel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Singing bowls are traditionally made in Nepal and Tibet, so many of the bowls available on the market do come from those regions. Each bowl has its own unique sound and frequency, and the note of a bowl is determined by its size, thickness and composition. The different notes you mention, such as D, C, and F, refer to the musical pitch of the bowl when struck or played with a mallet. The one in the video is B. It's also important to buy from a reputable seller who can provide information about the bowl's origin and craftsmanship. It's also a good idea to consider the intended use of the bowl and the desired frequency for meditation, healing, or musical performance. Hope this helps.
