From what I've seen of her performance schedule this year, it appears Republic is continuing the slower, nurturing pace her family employed earlier, as she further develops her all around entertainer skills and confidence, while building a catalog of originals. I would guess that the plan is for a first full album release with full promotion, timed to drop just before a full tour when she turns 21 and won't have any venue restrictions. If you get a chance to see her in one of the small to medium size venues she is now performing in, I'd take advantage, because when she blows up, it'll become next to impossible to get seats that close again.

Angelina started singing around 18 months of age, after listening to Whitney Houston on TH-cam. She quickly became obsessed with listening to music videos and her maternal grandmother, Mery Zamani got Angelina interested in classic jazz. Mery Zamani is Iranian and was a prodigy as an artist and poet while growing up in Iran. Angelina attended the Oslo Waldorf School and participated in the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program, where starting around age 4, she had training in music but no vocal training. Her teachers were smart enough to not attempt to change what she was doing vocally. More recently she along with her grandmother have designed and made the clothing she wears on stage. I think when she was little, she taught herself to sing by learning to mimic what she heard, playing with how to sound in different ways, to learn how to use her voice. That is the extent of the mimic portion of her life. Every song she has covered, songs that I love, she gave me a deeper understanding of the lyrics, and allowed me to FEEEEEEEL them in a new way!

Thank you for your kind reply. You should follow her in any order you choose. Chronologically is great as you follow her development over the years, but there are approximately 250 videos! I would recommend after I put a spell on you, going back to the very beginning with her Norway's Got Talent performances. There are four of them and I would choose the ones with subtitle availability. Then there are several performances at 8 years old that are phenomenal. I think at that point perhaps jump to the present to see where she's at now and then go back and forth between earlier ages and current. I think you might enjoy it more but that is up to you. In a world that seems, at times, to feature its share of craziness and upside-down-ness, Angelina is, and has been since she was a child, a beacon of humility and kindness. Her otherworldly singing voice is almost unfair to those of us who lack both grace and talent, which she spills out in abundance. She has matured into a stunningly beautiful young woman, but her genuine charm continues unabated. She still seems to be in some disbelief that people pay good money to show up and hear her sing Live, which they have done for 4 consecutive soldout performances, one of which I attended in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. When I first learned of Angelina, 4.5 years ago, my brain would ache since it didn't make sense for such a mature voice to be coming from such a young lady. Angelina is far more than just a vocal mimic, she understands music as if she came directly from music heaven. I'm 58 and accidentally discovered this Angel five years ago - this song is the first one I heard from her!! I was watching young people react to legends like The Righteous Brothers, Elvis, Whitney Houston, etc.. Just young people reacting to greats of the past. This girl will blow your mind!! I've never heard an artist with such depth, texture, emotion in her voice! I barely listen to anything else since I discovered her. She is not a mimic - many of us are firmly convinced she is an empath who feels the music she listens to and then presents the music back in her interpretation with her feelings. Many of her fans repeat this often "If you want to hear a great song performed brilliantly, listen to the original. If you want to FEEL that same song, listen to Angelina's cover of it!" She has also done her own musical arrangements since at least the age of 9. While everything she has done has been amazing, there is a performance that is absolutely completely mind-blowing when she was 9 years, 2 months old. She did a rendition of "I Put a Spell on You" paying tribute to the original - Screamin' Jay Hawkins - she even enters the recording booth holding a candle with his picture on it. You'll see her little hand writing notes followed by a man reading them - she was requesting last minute changes to piano and the music director read it and smiled. The band was respectfully calling her "Boss" because even at 9yrs old she was absolutely professional and knew EXACTLY what she was wanting to produce. This is a MUST LISTEN - as is her entire library, I promise you! She burst onto the scene at age 7 with her Norway's Got Talent audition of Billie Holiday's "Gloomy Sunday". She followed up with Billie Holiday's "I'm a Fool to Want You" at age 7 acapella in a competition, WOW! Third up is Sony and Cher's "Bang, Bang" as popularized by Nancy Sinatra. Finally, she won the competition with George Gershwin's "Summertime". If you select to check these out - make sure to watch the ones with english subtitles, unless you understand Norwegian. The judges have so many wonderful comments and funny!! Many people new to discovering this great talent go to the above competition and to America's Got Talent Champions where she performed a golden buzzer rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody" for which the remaining members of Queen gave her the copyright to her version. It's said she refused to sign with Simon so she didn't make it past her next performance which was an incredible rendition of Elton John's "Yellow Brick Road". It hits different, not as much pop as Elvis' version - much slower and more emotional and jazzy. This young lady oozes jazz like you would not believe. She is experimenting with vocal fry at the max, so don't think this is the way she always sings. I've watched all her videos since I discovered her over 6 years ago, & she has never used that much vocal fry again, not even when she sang the same song again at her Sept. 20, 2024 concert in LA. She's known as the "Girl with 1000 Voices" & this was just 1. I've been listening to music since the 60's & have heard a lot of great vocal artists, but none have had the effect on me that she has. She is a jazz/blues/soul singer at her core, but she has mastered another 6 or 7 other genre, so her versatility is off the scale. Her grandmother played jazz records for her when she was very young. At 3 years old she started singing along. At 6 she made her first studio recording. At 7 she entered Norway's Got Talent with a Billie Holiday song, and six month later won the show. She was on US television doing Fly Me To The Moon at 8. Her parents limited outside producers and music industry contracts and influence so she could still grow up, and become who she is. All restrictions are gone now. She has played the O2 Arena, Las Vegas, and lots of other venues.

I have listened avidly to Angelina since 2018 when i accidentally discovered her performance on Norway's got talent and since then have searched out all performances I can find on TH-cam and all media, so I have heard a lot of her covers she does not just cover a song she rearranges them to make them her own, and very rarely sings a song in the same way but her real talent is is writing and performing lyrical masterpieces, she has an 6 song EP called OLD ENOUGH released july 2023 all original songs all of them absolutely beautiful but there are also several recent new songs her latest Bad Valentine written with Toby Gad who wrote IF I WERE A BOY and ALL OF ME for John Legend and many more. there are 4 different performances of this song the latest being a jazzy version which I love

Interesting reaction: most beautiful voice I have ever heard... by "beautiful" I mean multiple things including an unmatched ability to convey emotion ... at a Christmas concert when she was 16 surrounded by a number of great musicians with multiple grammies between then one, who had played for Frank Sinatra, said he considered Angelina the greatest singer-story-teller since Frank... At her recent concert in LA she was accompanied by Jimmy Z, who played with Etta James and seems in awe of her talent. On my 12th birthday I think I was given treasure island , like most kids I would imagine myself a singer or a hero in a movie 🍿 but after treasure island I just wanted to read more and more 😊 so the moral for me is “ follow what you love !

A very deep rabbit hole, dive in. She is a very versatile singer/ song writer and arranger. All her work is worth a listen but one of my personal favs is "Stay". One of the songs she did at 12 with Ivan Mendez on guitar. He has said that they would hang out after school. select a song and run through it once or twice. In addition to school she got also vocal training at the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program (I read, that this school said, they couldn't teach her more stuff because she has all learned what she could learn in this school ;-) ) - and btw. she plays also grand piano, violin, flute and guitar, make her arrangements herself, wrote a book, sew clothes for herself (partly with art from her grandma like in her first AGT performance and in her music video "Shield"). From what I've seen of her performance schedule this year, it appears Republic is continuing the slower, nurturing pace her family employed earlier, as she further develops her all around entertainer skills and confidence, while building a catalog of originals. I would guess that the plan is for a first full album release with full promotion, timed to drop just before a full tour when she turns 21 and won't have any venue restrictions. If you get a chance to see her in one of the small to medium size venues she is now performing in, I'd take advantage, because when she blows up, it'll become next to impossible to get seats that close again.

Born Angelina Jordan Astar on January 10, 2006 in Oslo, Norway to her Norwegian mother, Sara Astar and her Swedish father, Gerry Christian Slattman.
Angelina started singing around 18 months of age, after listening to Whitney Houston on TH-cam. She quickly became obsessed with listening to music videos and her maternal grandmother, Mery Zamani got Angelina interested in classic jazz.
Mery Zamani is Iranian and was a prodigy as an artist and poet while growing up in Iran. Angelina attended the Oslo Waldorf School and participated in the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program, where starting around age 4, she had training in music but no vocal training. Her teachers were smart enough to not attempt to change what she was doing vocally. More recently she along with her grandmother have designed and made the clothing she wears on stage.
Why Angelina always performs barefoot At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate.
At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. PLEASE PURCHASE Angelina’s book from her merchandise store on her official website, angelinajordanofficial Angelina, at age 6 and 7, did record a few songs in a recording studio at her school, most notably “I Who Have Nothing”, a truly remarkable performance for a 7 year old. At age 7, Angelina’s audition on Norway’s Got Talent, was a cover of Billie Holiday’s “Gloomy Sunday”, a song which was banned by a number of European countries during World War II because authorities worried the song would increase the suicide rate. Truly bizarre that this is the song to launch the career of a child musical prodigy. One of the judges on NGT cried. Angelina had turned 8 years old for her next performance on NGT, covering Billie Holiday’s “I’m a Fool to Want You” singing acapella which was required by NGT unless the singer also played an instrument while singing. This was the Judge’s cut round of the competition and was not performed in front of an audience. In the Semi Final round of NGT, Angelina sang “Bang Bang” which was written by Sonny Bono and was first performed by his wife Cher but is best known sung by Nancy Sinatra. The improvement in each performance is incredible even though there were only a couple months between them. In the Finals, Angelina did a cover of George Gershwin’s, “Summertime” and won the contest, capturing 46% of the votes from the ten finalists. When asked what she would like to do with the prize money she won (500,000 kroner or about $80,000), Angelina replied, “I want to give it to the poor children”. Angelina had become a star in her native Norway and her videos on TH-cam went viral. She gave a few concerts during the summer of 2014 while 8 years old. In December 2014, Angelina realized a life-long desire to sing at the Save the Children's Peace Prize Celebration which is part of the Noble Peace Prize celebration. Angelina’s family took her to United States, Brazil, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Russia, South Korea, Singapore among other corners of Earth, to perform for heads of state and to help raise money for charity. All before Angelina turned 14. At age 9, Angelina recorded a music video covering the 1956 Jay Hawkin’s classic, “I Put a Spell On You”. The video begins by showing Angelina writing her “wishes” for how she wants to perform the song. Angelina has always created her own arrangements for her cover songs. At age 10 and just a week before her 11th birthday, Angelina recorded a demo of “I’m Still Holding Out for You”. Her family never pursued having that recording officially released but someone leaked it on a TH-cam video. Thankfully, everyone involved with that song is now ok with the leaked version. Many angels (fans) believe this is one of Angelina’s best performances. When Angelina was 11, she performed a number of concerts in Norway with a jazz/rock band. Those concerts included up to 14 songs, each remarkably performed. Angelina seems to be at her best when on stage, never nervous, only 100% confident. Also at age 11, Angelina recorded her “It’s Magic” album which has, at times, been in the top 10 best selling jazz albums. On June 27, 2018, at age 12, Jordan performed Frank Sinatra “Fly Me to the Moon” for Quincy Jones in The O2 Arena in London. She has said that was the high point of her young career which was already in it’s 6th year. During 2018, Angelina lost her paternal grandfather, her friend Avicii and one of her idols, Aretha Franklin. She did a moving tribute for each. In 2019, Angelina accepted an invitation to compete in the 2nd season of America’s Got Talent (AGT), The Champions. She had, since age 3, wanted to perform for Simon Cowell and she earned his praise with her genius arrangement of “Bohemian Rhapsody”. The surviving members of Queen loved it so much they put a link to it on their Twitter. Angelina was eliminated after covering Elton John’s “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”. Angelina’s family refused to sign any agreement with AGT. Angelina, before age 14, had covered more than 130 songs from 80 different artists, spanning at least 8 genres, all of which are available on TH-cam. Angelina has always made changes to each song she covers and often her version is preferred over the original. The pandemic hit shortly after her performances on AGT and likely caused a change of plans by her family, most notably her Uncle Michael who is her manager. Her family agreed to a contract with Republic Records in August 2020. Republic Records declared Angelina Jordan their highest priority new artist. Reportedly her family requested Republic to allow her as normal a childhood as possible and therefore have yet to fully promote her. During the pandemic, Angelina was often seen buying meals for the homeless on the streets of Los Angeles. In November 2020, Angelina released “Million Miles” which she wrote after the passing of her beloved maternal grandfather. She dedicated the song to anyone who has ever lost a loved one. On May 16, 2024, the first fruits of Angelina's cooperation with Tobi Gad were released. This German composer and record producer based in Los Angeles invited Angeline to an intimate concert at the Hotel Cafe JESSE & FRIENDS, the same one where Adel sang and was discovered. Tobi then took Angelina to London, where she performed His song If I Were A Boy at the London Palladium, and they recorded two versions of the song, Live At Saint James Church, and another studio version illustrated with a film from the streets of London. It seems that Tobi has started cooperation with Angelina and there are several joint songs in the pipeline. At the May concert in Los Angeles, one of them was presented: BAD VALENTINE.

She's basically been a star since she was 7 years old. First and foremost, she is a jazz singer but has the ability to sing any genre. She also does all of her own musical arrangements. At age 13, she was invited to participate on America's Got Talent: The Champions in 2020. She shocked the audience and the judges with her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. She received a standing ovation from all and got the Golden Buzzer from judge Heidi Klum to go straight to the Finals. Her performance went viral and even the group Queen responded on Twitter by saying, "Wow, what a rendition!" For Queen to respond to someone covering one of their songs is quite a feat since they rarely react to anyone. She did not win, but her fan base grew and expanded her popularity.

Her fans call her The Barefoot Princess. She always performs with no shoes when she sings. Why? The reason is very special. When she was 6 years old, she was traveling with her family in Iran where she met a poor shoeless girl in the streets that was about her age. She made money by weighing people. After speaking with her for a few minutes, Angelina noticed the scars on the girl's feet and asked the girl what her dream is. The girl said she wanted to be a doctor but she couldn't because she had to make money for her family. Angelina did what came natural to her, she gave the little girl her shoes and told her to not give up on her dreams. The girl then asked Angelina what her dreams were, Angelina answered that she wanted to sing for the whole world, and the girl said she would pray for her success. Since then, Angelina has performed barefoot in honor of that little girl and to those who are less fortunate around the world. She keeps this promise to this day. I think when she was little, she taught herself to sing by learning to mimic what she heard, playing with how to sound in different ways, to learn how to use her voice. That is the extent of the mimic portion of her life. Every song she has covered, songs that I love, she gave me a deeper understanding of the lyrics, and allowed me to FEEEEEEEL them in a new way!

Why does Angelina sing barefoot? The answer may makes many people emotional. It is related to a promise she made to herself and to the world when she was only 6 years old. She was traveling in the Middle East with her mom and grandmother and they came across a young orphan girl with no shoes and scarred feet. Angelina gave the girl her own favorite shoes. Angelina ask the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said a doctor, but she could not because she had to take care of her siblings. She asked Angelina the same question and Angelina said I want to sing for the world. The young girl said she would pray for Angelina. Since then, Angelia has forever performed barefoot as a reminder of all those less fortunate. At age 9 she wrote a book about this experience, Between two Hearts, becoming the youngest ever published author in Norway. She also has helped raise millions for children's charities. I would recommend after I put a spell on you, going back to the very beginning with her Norway's Got Talent performances. There are four of them and I would choose the ones with subtitle availability. Then there are several performances at 8 years old that are phenomenal. I think at that point perhaps jump to the present to see where she's at now and then go back and forth between earlier ages and current. I think you might enjoy it more but that is up to you. In a world that seems, at times, to feature its share of craziness and upside-down-ness, Angelina is, and has been since she was a child, a beacon of humility and kindness. Her otherworldly singing voice is almost unfair to those of us who lack both grace and talent, which she spills out in abundance. She has matured into a stunningly beautiful young woman, but her genuine charm continues unabated. She still seems to be in some disbelief that people pay good money to show up and hear her sing Live, which they have done for 4 consecutive soldout performances, one of which I attended in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Alan, I am glad you often closed your eyes while enjoying this performance. When I first learned of Angelina, 4.5 years ago, my brain would ache since it didn't make sense for such a mature voice to be coming from such a young lady. Angelina is far more than just a vocal mimic, she understands music as if she came directly from music heaven. She won Norway's Got Talent at age 8, instructing the musicians how she wanted to sing the song. The musicians lovingly called her "the boss". Angelina's journey to date, is far too long to post here. She is music royalty and her parents didn't sign her with a record label until the pandemic when she was 14 and Republic Records built her a studio. Angelina has told us, she has written more than 100 songs and we have been blessed with 16 to date. The only things which exceed her musical ability, are her humility and empathy, best told by her book "Between Two Hearts" published when she was 9 years old. The book tells the story why she always performs barefoot.

At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes.
Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina never learned the orphan's name but called her Princess. The orphan girl replied, "princesses live in castles, we live in ruins". Angelina titled her song about this story, "Princess of Ruins".
Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. Another you might get a kick out of is her tribute to "Screamin" Jay Hawkins I Put a Spell on You she was 9 at that time and she arranged the music. She started arranging most of her music at age 8.

I'm 58 and accidentally discovered this Angel five years ago - this song is the first one I heard from her!! I was watching young people react to legends like The Righteous Brothers, Elvis, Whitney Houston, etc.. Just young people reacting to greats of the past. This girl will blow your mind!! I've never heard an artist with such depth, texture, emotion in her voice! I barely listen to anything else since I discovered her.
She is not a mimic - many of us are firmly convinced she is an empath who feels the music she listens to and then presents the music back in her interpretation with her feelings. Many of her fans repeat this often "If you want to hear a great song performed brilliantly, listen to the original. If you want to FEEL that same song, listen to Angelina's cover of it!" She has also done her own musical arrangements since at least the age of 9. While everything she has done has been amazing, there is a performance that is absolutely completely mind-blowing when she was 9 years, 2 months old. She did a rendition of "I Put a Spell on You" paying tribute to the original - Screamin' Jay Hawkins - she even enters the recording booth holding a candle with his picture on it. You'll see her little hand writing notes followed by a man reading them - she was requesting last minute changes to piano and the music director read it and smiled. The band was respectfully calling her "Boss" because even at 9yrs old she was absolutely professional and knew EXACTLY what she was wanting to produce. This is a MUST LISTEN - as is her entire library, I promise you!
She burst onto the scene at age 7 with her Norway's Got Talent audition of Billie Holiday's "Gloomy Sunday". She followed up with Billie Holiday's "I'm a Fool to Want You" at age 7 acapella in a competition, WOW! Third up is Sony and Cher's "Bang, Bang" as popularized by Nancy Sinatra. Finally, she won the competition with George Gershwin's "Summertime". If you select to check these out - make sure to watch the ones with english subtitles, unless you understand Norwegian. The judges have so many wonderful comments and funny!!
Many people new to discovering this great talent go to the above competition and to America's Got Talent Champions where she performed a golden buzzer rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody" for which the remaining members of Queen gave her the copyright to her version. It's said she refused to sign with Simon so she didn't make it past her next performance which was an incredible rendition of Elton John's "Yellow Brick Road".
Another music video she did that I have no doubt will blow your mind is her cover of Elvis' "Suspicious Minds" - she completely reimagined it. It hits different, not as much pop as Elvis' version - much slower and more emotional and jazzy. This young lady oozes jazz like you would not believe. So check out her original at age 15 - "Seventh Heaven". When you're ready for a tear jerker, check out her original "Million Miles" which is a tribute to her grandfather who had passed. Another original that is from when she was 12 is "Shield" about her family protecting her and being her shield against the dangers of the world. It's brilliant! She also put out an EP last year "Old Enough" - all the songs are brilliant and tell a story.

Angelina, who has actually just turned 12 in this (not 13) & is just playing around with her new Neumann TLM 102 mic she got for her birthday. She is experimenting with vocal fry at the max, so don't think this is the way she always sings. I've watched all her videos since I discovered her over 6 years ago, & she has never used that much vocal fry again, not even when she sang the same song again at her Sept. 20, 2024 concert in LA. She's known as the "Girl with 1000 Voices" & this was just 1. I've been listening to music since the 60's & have heard a lot of great vocal artists, but none have had the effect on me that she has. She is a jazz/blues/soul singer at her core, but she has mastered another 6 or 7 other genre, so her versatility is off the scale. Her grandmother played jazz records for her when she was very young. At 3 years old she started singing along. At 6 she made her first studio recording. At 7 she entered Norway's Got Talent with a Billie Holiday song, and six month later won the show. She was on US television doing Fly Me To The Moon at 8. Her parents limited outside producers and music industry contracts and influence so she could still grow up, and become who she is. All restrictions are gone now. She has played the O2 Arena, Las Vegas, and lots of other venues.

I have listened avidly to Angelina since 2018 when i accidentally discovered her performance on Norway's got talent and since then have searched out all performances I can find on TH-cam and all media, so I have heard a lot of her covers she does not just cover a song she rearranges them to make them her own, and very rarely sings a song in the same way but her real talent is is writing and performing lyrical masterpieces, she has an 6 song EP called OLD ENOUGH released july 2023 all original songs all of them absolutely beautiful but there are also several recent new songs her latest Bad Valentine written with Toby Gad who wrote IF I WERE A BOY and ALL OF ME for John Legend and many more. there are 4 different performances of this song the latest being a jazzy version which I love

To her, singing is like breathing. IMO she is the best singer in the world.
A very deep rabbit hole, dive in. She is a very versatile singer/ song writer and arranger. All her work is worth a listen but one of my personal favs is "Stay". One of the songs she did at 12 with Ivan Mendez on guitar. He has said that they would hang out after school. select a song and run through it once or twice. Grandma Merry would then record it, usually one take. You can see her checking the lyrics. Raw talent.

Rob was the MC of AJ Christmas Show that aired Dec 23, of 21. AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 21 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years, and toured with Barbara Streisand, accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre, was part of the band for the show? Jimmy stated that AJ was the best he has ever played for. Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California played the guitar and was the MC of the show. (I can't list the complete backgrounds on all the band members because it would take several pages to do them justice.) Angelina stated that she would rather perform than take a breath, and she has never been forced to perform, it has been her decision.
