- I crashed my dji mini 3 pro few days ago and later i noticed that obstacle was not working. So i did some research only but couldn’t find any solution. Came across a article to diagnose sensors so thought of giving it a try. And it worked.

I'm so thankful for this tutorial! I just got my new mini 3 pro and crashed in the first flight because the sensor was not working. Now that I managed to calibrate the sensors as you explained it works perfectly.

Hi Guys , I had the same issue and drone getting really hot and dropping out while I was trying to calibrate . I changed the cable to another one and had no issue with drone heating up . What I suspect is obviously the drone pulls more power than a standard mobile phone ( galaxy charging cable ) so you need to use a quality cable , once I did that it calibrated no problem.

I have same issue that the obstacle sensor is not work. I have tried this callibration, but on obstacle test this is still not work. I have tried with brake and bypass mode and tune for gain this brake but this still not work

Another thing, at night when the sensors are not working the drone flies sideways. Not in the morning and in the afternoon, because I disabled it. Is there any relationship between the sensors and lateral flight? I did the procedure in your video. Congratulations, I'll test it in the morning here in Brazil. sorry for my English. Help me please.

I use a little fan that I put in front of the drone when installing firmware or anything that takes time to do on the drone. It really helps.

Try the sensors in day time. They don’t work at night
I crashed my mini 3 pro and front and back sensors are not working. It happened at night. In the morning and in the afternoon they returned to work. Is the functioning of the sensors related to the brightness?
Yes. Sensors dont work at night.

I can't get through the rear calibration. Has shut down repeatedly as too hot I guess.
You need to cool it down with a portable fane or turn you ac to coolest mode
I did it many times but not work.
Use a small ice cube bag half filled or a damp cloth that’s been in the freezer and wrap it around the body.
Hot it near you air conditioner
Its scary because it doesnt provide a warning. You have to figure it out yourself. Thankfully i noticed before i did anything stupid!

Hei, you didn't do the calibration correctly. Keep the drone in the middle of the screen all the time.

Check propellers if they are installed correctly
what exactly is your mini 3 problem ? sensors didn't work at all ? foward, backward sensors ?

My computer cant find mavic mini 3 pro i used 3 computers and none cant find.

I can’t find it either and I’m using DJI assistant 2
The tutorial looked helpfull. However, the software did nothing more than let me access the SD card.
It took over an hour of trying to do it before or overheated. Every time when on the damn bottom sensors it shut down from overheat or the usb moved.
I cooled out on the freezer and also used a can of compressed air to cool the drone during calibration.
Unfortunately, After all of that, the sensors are STILL DISSABLED. Thanks for making the video though. Im sure it helped some.
I don't think you're supposed to physically move the drone around like you are doing. You are supposed to point it. Isn't that what the tutorial shows as the "wrong" way to do it by physically moving the drone around?
