How To Calibrate Vision Sensors On DJI Drones

In this video, I will show you the steps needed in order to calibrate your drone. I had this warning pop up, and I figured I should make a nice tutorial for anybody that isn't sure what to do and how to do it.
After you watch this you will know how to calibrate vision sensors on any DJI drone.

Here is a written list of steps:
1. Visit the DJI website and download and install the software.
2. Run DJI Assistant.
3. Make sure your drone battery is at least 50% charged.
4 Remove the propellers from your drone.
5. Turn on your drone.
6. Connect the drone to the desktop/laptop via USB cable.
7. DJI Assistant will automatically recognize that your drone is connected.
8. Select the box with your drone on it.
9. In the new window, on the left-hand side, click on "Calibration".
10. Carefully inspect DOs and DON'Ts that the Assistant will show you.
11. After you "next-ed" all steps click on "Start Calibration".
12. Carefully place the drone in front of the screen at the right distance from the screen. Start with the drone almost touching the middle of your screen, and then move it away from the screen until the corners of the blue square become blue.
13. Track the squares without moving your drone around. Keep it in place and just tilt rotate it.
14 Next, you will need to take a step back and repeat the process.
15. After you do both Close and Far calibration of one set of sensors, you will be asked to calibrate the next set (if you have it).
16. When all vision sensors are calibrated, DJI Assistant will then calculate the data it collected, and it will upload the new settings to your drone.
17. After it's done and you will get a "Calibration Success!" message and now you can exit the DJI Assistant and unplug and turn off your drone.

Sadly it seems DJI has removed this feature from the software for Spark :(

Can you tell me, do you have to do this on a laptop as my mines is broken atm and having to use an internet cafe. I’m getting Forward & backward sensors unavailable. It’s for my mini pro 3.

Just got mine in a few days ago and today i got a Visual sensor error please contact DJI for assistance and it gave an error code. I powered everything off and powered everything back on. Worked fine after that but still leave me a bit worry some

I have the dji mini pro 4 and had the vision sensor error where it said BKWD and FWD unavailable as well as UP/DOWN and LEFT/RIGHT. The H icon in the upper right was red. I could not launch the drone as the launch icon was unavailable. I have the RC2 remote. I did the latest firmware update and the H was still red with the same message but the launch button was available now on the screen. I contacted dji through the chat to make sure the vision sensors would work and they said the H will remain red with the same message above but the H will turn white and the message goes away once you launch. I tried this and it worked.

there is a little bar to regulate the volume of the audio, you can turn off the music with it. Simple but efficient if you mind the audio. Think about it.
