I have a question: Where do your knives go after making? Do you sell them? Do you use them? And if you collect them on a shelf I would love to see an image of ot
I remember watching the video where Tim forged this. I thought I recognized it and I was happy to see he sent it to you to turn into a knife. For those who don't know, Black Beard's knives are really nice. I won one from World of Tanks. I still play the game. I still stink at it. LoL But the knife is good!
I was like, "wait I've seen that pattern before!". hope you get a few more subs from this Tim, your channel is underappreciated imo. take care brother!
Love the blade shape. The handle makes it though. That’s the part I have the hardest time with when making a knife. Making a functional and beautiful handle is an art. Well done!
maaaan i love your work i love your talent the best crafting YT channel ever i really appreciate that you write every single step you do in the description i never saw someone else does that that's what makes you my favorite blacksmith please keep this amazing work
Tim from big dog forge , for me is an incredible smith and great maker, hugely talented yet down to earth and very humble. You did a great job with the handle, love that slight upward curve along the spine.
Very beautiful and I watched the steel blank being made. I've watched Big Dog Forge a little longer than I have your channel and glad to be able to watch someone make a knife out of one of his steel blanks Enjoyed your video and gave it a Thumbs Up
Hey!!! I thought I recognized that Billet ^.^ Now then, blade turned out awesome, scary sharp and chops through a 4x4 without rolling the edge, you really got the heat treat dialed in on that little beastie
That's pretty awesome man. My question is that with this kind of forge setup how you remove clinker from the forge? Definitely show in next knife video.
Jerimaih and Akhenatau , Please keep in mind that our friend lives in France , may not have the funds necessary to come to the U.S. and is probably not all that interested in " reality t.v." . About as much REALITY as a William Shatner performance of anything . ( sorry trekkies , he's just not that good .)
Видео вдохновляет! Хочу себе такой же нож сделать сам. Вот только понравится ли соседям, если я начну стучать по наковальне в свободное время в своей квартире...
Wonderful job ! A question, if you don't mind. When you use the term card stock , please how thick and what material is the card stock made of ? Is it only paper based or is it treated with something ? Thank you for sharing .
Have you ever thought about making a samurai sword? Also I have a very old Ka-Bar pocket knife that I think is Damascus steel. I've only had to sharpen it twice since I got it as a kid.

1:20 Dude, your magnet is going for a walk!!! LOL
I like the way you softened the spine of the blade with a torch and cold oil nice blade

Why don't you participate in forged in fire competition ✌️🤓
For more information watch history tv 18
they won't let him participate , cause they know he would win no problem hehehe

Sorry , my bad . Don't let my last name fool you , I'm Sicilian, don't make me call Vinny in Chiago. 😁🤔
I really really REALLY love your videos, you do such good work!
Thats one seriously good knife! Love your work!
This blade... Such a beauty!
Понравилось решение впаять резьбу в ручку! Но вварить конечно проще😉
Nice chopper! I really like the bone Damascus pattern. I would buy one!!
you did such an awesome job on this one. kudos to you!
So super nice work
I would call it "Bacon Damascus"! XD
Great Work!
Never trust brass weld.
Especially on tang.
Как всегда все на отличном уровне, очень нравятся работы мастера
Such an absolutely stunning knife superb job
Love watching your vids. You make the best handles.
Pretty blade. But when chopping, use 45 degree angles. One left, one right. It's quicker and saves the blades edge.
Great job really like the handle!
Big dog forge did a great damascus, you finisched a lovely knife. Great job, tks for the video!!! ciao
You fr should be on Forged in Fire
Cool chopper man all you need now is a leather sheath for it.
I love the sound of that steel.
With youre new stacked handles!
Nice one!
Great looking work and learning a lot thanks for sharing and be safe and God Bless y’all
Good job and well done keep the good work :D
Nice job, a master at great handles.
Nice Work as usual
Very nice! Maybe a lanyard hole on the next one
Beautiful cutlery. It would be perfect in a Bush craft set for chopping deer or a chicken. 👍
Wow keren banget motif pisau nya om juga mantap banget

Думаю нужен пневматический молот, тогда и наковальня соседей не смутит)))

Complimenti davvero, è una bellezza!
Very beautiful knife, continue doing things like this.👍🔪👏😃
this man must be ripped by all the whacking he does, crikey.
Don't mess with a black smith.
The stacked handle reminds me of stacked leather handles
Looks great well done.
Another amazing and beautiful blade
Another amazing creation!
Beautiful work!
Nice as always
Beautiful work! Does the knife have a function? I saw the chopping of the wood, but is this a common type of knife used for this purpose?
Sehr schöne Arbeit
Beautiful !!! I want to but it lol !!!! Awesome style
Excellent work👍👍👍. Thanks for sharing

so so talented.... excellent knife.
Bravo!!! Super!!!
Beautiful knife
Very nice indeed. Thanks for sharing.
What do you use for the forced patina on the brass?
I’m watching the time lapse in slow motion 😆
Update: it’s kinda cool actually. Looks like I’m watching stop motion.
Been waiting 😂
Nice result
wow; smart drilling the back plate at an angle.
Wonderful job ! A question, if you don't mind. When you use the term card stock , please how thick and what material is the card stock made of ? Is it only paper based or is it treated with something ? Thank you for sharing .
You should of put it in a instant coffee etch but it looks amazing otherwise!
Veramente strafigo!

I forged it And sent it to Him just for fun.
