Southeastern Railway Children's Train & Model Train

Today we are in Duluth, Georgia at the Southeastern Railway Museum. We will take you on the children's train ride around the yard. This was the former 1950's Birmingham Zoo train from Alabama. Built by: Miniature Train Company (Rensselaer, Indiana). Mike rode on this train as a child growing up in Birmingham. Next we will go inside the museum and view the model train in action.

I went there earlier this year, while i was in georgia for job training, it's a really nice place. I wish i could've taken my kids to see it.

Yes it's a hidden gem. Hopefully you can go back and take the family. It's great for kids of all ages. Even my 80 year old Mom loved it!
