Trains with Pathway to Joy
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 24 ก.ย. 2016
Hello, from Mike and Sonja! We are transplanted Floridians who enjoy sharing some of the beautiful sights of our state with you. We love trains and we love our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May you be blessed as you view our channel. We pray that all we do brings glory to God the Father.
Occasionally, we will try to go railfanning across the country. In our lifetime we have been on passenger trains from Stone Mountain, Georgia; Pikes Peak Cog Railway, in Colorado; the White Mountains of New Hampshire; and I (Sonja) have taken my mom on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad and Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. We only wish that we had been making train videos back then to share. We are currently learning about freight trains and Amtrak service in the south. Thank you for coming along with us!

Watching RTD Denver; See Inside Airport 2024 #commuterrail
Pena Station Denver RTD is a busy stop. You will see trains come and go. Also moving along the highway as we drive north. Next morning see the sunrise. Get ready for afternoon flight at DIA Denver International Airport. On our way we will see more activity at the Pena station. Visit the inside of the airport. Eat at Timberline. Thanks for coming along. May God bless you!

Today we are going to Irondale right outside Birmingham, Alabama. Here you will see a single engine Norfolk Southern. It has a backdrop of blue skies and the American flag! Next is a train on the lower 2nd track. It is hauling covered grain hoppers. Then we have a long train pulling multiple loads. The auto racks appeared to be empty. We will drive past the Norris Yard entrance. You will see a ...

1st we see an Amtrak Crescent daybreak train. Next is an afternoon Norfolk Southern. In this video you will see several freight trains. Also, we will have a meal at the Home Spun restaurant. It's not too far from the tracks. After the last train we will take you to see the historic Buford graveyard. Peaceful setting. Thanks for watching. Remember, by grace you are saved. May God bless you.

Join us today in Irondale, Alabama. We will see a Norfolk Southern yard slug between 2 engines. Follow it as it backs into Norris Yard. Several other freight trains passed by us while we watched from the caboose. Amtrak #19 was headed on its way to New Orleans. Instead of a baggage car, there was a big picture window on the last car. The recycle train came by heading east. Really cool to see th...

Many freight trains were running today! Starting with a Norfolk Southern autorack. Then a 5 engine Union Pacific pulling uphill. On the upper track there were 2 other Norfolk Southern trains working the yard. Also, a Norfolk Southern pulling MSC containers was waiting for a crew change. There was also a full crew change that you will get to see. The Google Earth flyover view shows just how larg...

Glad you enjoyed the video. And yes, RTD is super nice!!

Grew up near trains I should say
You may find this report interesting 🧐 since you are into model railroads: COLORADO SPRINGS - With more than a mile of track, there's nothing miniature about the model railroad that occupies the basement of Bob Bandy's Colorado Springs home; under construction since 2000 with parts and pieces collected over the decades, the Grand Pacific Northwestern is a world unto itself. www.koaa.com/jon-mcmichael
I have and I'm so glad. I grew near trains and I am a 30 + years 1:87 model railroader. It is so nice to find Christians, especially ones that like trains ! 😊
Nice catch and it sounds like the horn in a Roblox game! And the harsher sound makes it more appealing than regular train horns!
So glad you enjoyed the horn!!. It was a fun day!!
Nice video, and ending statements.
We appreciate your support and encouragement. May you have a blessed Thanksgiving weekend.
Nice video keep them coming 😊😊😊
More to come! Thank you for your support and hope you have a great Thanksgiving weekend.
Your Content is good but you didn't get proper audience views and subscribe because of your lack of proper SEO.
Thank you. We're glad you liked the video and that you see value in our work.
@trainsandmorewithpathwaytojoy Sir, I have visited your TH-cam channel for a long time. Your channel's video SEO score is not very good. Due to which the videos are not reaching the audience, the videos should be SEO by Rank Tag #1 and the videos should be promoted in your video related groups. By doing this you will get viewers and subscribers. I can say 100%.
Your interest in trains is truly amazing, and most of your videos are about trains, which I find quite unique. Your videos are beautiful. If you'd like, I can help you reach a much larger audience with these wonderful videos. I have experience in this field. God bless you.
Thank you for your professional response and support. We will prayerfully consider the next steps the Lord has for us in our video ministry. Thank you again for reaching out. This has been an exciting pathway to Joy for us! Blessings in Jesus name.
Nice video, Just be careful it is not easy to see snakes in a place like that, they blend in the scenery. Thanks for the Video.
Thank you for your support and suggestions! Yes, you're right. We could never be too careful about that! Over logs or behind rocks 🙏 We've been surprised at suddenly seeing snakes a number of times over the years.
You could of stopped down by the freight office an watched trains from there
Oh wow thanks! That's awesome 👍
First train on the yard lead looked like L729. Winston Fl to Brownsand Georgia. Second train looked like B795. Ethanol loads for Tampas Hookers Point Terminal. Third train was the wildwood local L753 returning from working JR Plastics near ocala
We are so thankful for the information you provided. It's great to know where the trains are headed and what they are carrying. Someday we hope to invest in a train radio. Thank you again! May God bless you!!@@anthonyceleste6611
@@trainsandmorewithpathwaytojoy not a problem. I live at miona lake country club and visit wildwood on a regular basis
Love to hear the sound of the Norfolk Southern trains!!
Yes, that's a special sound 🎺
Y'all stay safe. I think your getting hit worse that me. Hurricane prep is a real workout. God bless. ❤
Prayers for you 🙏 and thanks for reaching out to us.
Yay! For a nice train video. God bless. ❤ 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🏃
Thank you very much! And may God bless you this day in Jesus name.
I have been to Yomen yard. I got to say it was all quiet except for a CSXT SD40-2 loco switching an industrial push which lasted about a while.
Yes, we noticed that it didn't have as much activity this summer as compared to last year before Christmas.
Our apologies for the closed captioning misspelling the mayor's last name. Her name is not Jane Patterson but Mayor Jane Castor, the 59th Mayor of the City of Tampa. A lifelong Tampa resident.
Y'all make wonderful train video and get great shots. God Bless You ❤
Thank you very much! We appreciate your encouragement and support! Blessings to you in Jesus name.
The best place to rail fan is in wildwood at the yard
That's a good suggestion. Someone else has mentioned Wildwood to us recently.
weird there's no snow? Is it really September and there's no snow?
Yes. Isn't that unusual? It's only on the highest peaks this year.
God bless you both in your travels and keep you safe in Jesus name 🙏✝️📖
Thank you Mark for sending your prayers and support. We appreciate your time and interest in our videos. May God bless you and yours in Jesus name!
@@trainsandmorewithpathwaytojoy thank you both.
Cool video! I sometimes go check out trains here.
Thank you! We're glad you enjoyed the video. May God bless you!
The sulphur springs depot used to be located on the side of what’s now called the CSX Clearwater subdivision. This was just south of Busch Blvd where the Clearwater and Brooksville subdivision split. The Clearwater subdivision turns west and runs along the south side of Busch Blvd towards Pinellas County. The brooksville subdivision crosses Busch Blvd and runs north to Brooksville staying pretty close to US 41. Up until 30 to 35 years ago give or take CSX stationed a rail crew there with a locomotive and caboose. Rail cars destined for industry in the area were brought up from yeoman and put on a side track until the crew could work them. This side track still exists between an area just south of east Waters ave to an area just south of Busch Blvd where the Depot had been located in Tampa.
Thank you for sharing the fascinating history of Tampa's railways. We look forward to going back and following the track in both directions, where it still exists today. It has been hard to catch a train in that area! But again we are glad you were able to enlighten us on this subject. We appreciate you watching and helping us keep the story of our railways alive.
Nice view of the Tampa rail yards. The Yeoman yard is the old Seaboard railway yard. The other to the north is called Uceta and it was the allantic coast line yard. The two railroad lines merged in 1968 if I remember correctly. The waterway to the east is actually called the Tampa bypass canal built in the early 70s . It serves as flood control for the Hillsborough river. It does follow the original course of six mile creek through. FYI the area downtown in Tampa that’s now called Curtis Hixon park used to be an Atlantic coast line yard. The bascule draw bridge is still in operation there and serves what now is called the CSX port Tampa subdivision. Running up to this bridge the tracks run down though the center of Polk st and run through a city parking garage to reach the bridge.
Thank you. You have brought clarity and great detail. We appreciate your interest in sharing your knowledge with us and everyone. When we rode Amtrak to Tampa and saw the train yard it sparked our interest in trying to find out more. There is limited access and no viewing platform. Trying to research the history on our own wasn't too easy. So, thank you again for bringing a wealth of information so concisely.
Thanks for letting people that Lakeland and Auburndale are great places to view trains!
Our pleasure!
Polk County. Go Grady!!! To many people here now.
We loved visiting Polk county and hope to be back soon! Thanks for watching.
Nice video of some of the local action! Thank you for sharing the Bible verses, too!
Thank you for your support and for letting us know how much it means to you.
Thank you for covering Auburndale.
Yes. You are welcome! Such a lovely town and people!!
Not sure if I was there
Thanks for your videos. I enjoy the trains and hearing your comments.
Glad you like them! Thank you very much!
To my knowlege, all locomtives are going to switch to what the 313 looks like.
That's a good color scheme and looks super coming down the track.
I went there earlier this year, while i was in georgia for job training, it's a really nice place. I wish i could've taken my kids to see it.
Yes it's a hidden gem. Hopefully you can go back and take the family. It's great for kids of all ages. Even my 80 year old Mom loved it! Thanks for your positive comments.
Excellent video really enjoyed your video keep up the great work looking forward to seeing more great content from you soon thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day
Thanks for watching and we look forward to checking out your channel. It was a real treat to visit Birmingham and see the Norris train yard.
I enjoyed the video and most importantly was the reading of God's Holy Word. God bless you both and keep you safe in your travels in Jesus name 🙏 ✝️📖
Thank you for letting us know! We appreciate your prayers and support. We hope to have more videos for you in the future. 🙏 You are a blessing to us!
We had 200 + acres of swampland catch fire, just outside of downtown Jackson here in Michigan a couple months back, the smoke was dark black for a couple hours
Our son and his wife used to live in Michigan and it's such a beautiful state! Hopefully the swamp land grew back better than before. But I know the smoke must have looked scary!!
@@trainsandmorewithpathwaytojoy it’s the most green I’ve ever seen that swamp, but that’s what happens after a fire everything grows back really green
That intermodal train with all the MSC containers is a trash train. It runs from around Selma, AL to somewhere in PA.
Oh wow! Thanks for letting us know.
It's Birming 'um " Burr ming ' um !!!! Burrr ming 'um ! Repeat after me " Burr - ming - 'um ! "
Standing too close to the tracks, that train could derail any minute
Thanks for your insight. We always want to respect the train.
Sometimes you have to refresh your browser, often. I saw almost 6 minutes of flight
You "saw almost 6 minutes of flight"? That's really good.
That was actually Amtrak 91 from New York to Miami, Florida P091 That’s the symbol and 48 is the train engine number
We used railrat.net to track the progress of Amtrak Silver Service 91 as it came through Lakeland on its way to Plant City. This one was on time! Thank you for your help on the engine number versus route number.
🙂Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
