Just ordered mine and can’t wait the delivery in May 2020, Jet black metallic with matching wheel paint, mocca seats with red seatbelts with matching red tach ring and red dash Chrono clock, it looks absolutely amazing.

congrats man, and like some markets the US spec doesn't have the OPF that might need an aftermarket solution.
aviator2492 what is OPF? If it’s the exhaust, I optioned the sport exhaust.

Great straight to chase video. Love the 992, its a tribute to the previous gens. Touches from the 930 wing, 996 seats, 993 arches, 964 hood etc. In person it's certainly more sporty looking than the 991.
Kudos Roger, the production values in this video are superb. Add into that the Welsh Roads and scenery and you've got a cracking video. Plus there's that 992, simply gorgeous!

Great video RB. This new 911 has really clean lines to it. It all just seems to flow effortlessly from front to back. Damn nice colour and alloys too. And the inside doesn't upset either. Loving this new interior design.

The bulging wide buttock is always been the ID of 911, plus a 2+2 seaters, just like the Aston Martin DB variants, so sexy and practical as a daily carriage, that had me bought it in 1999... Really really awesome.. tq bro. 😬💪

I've been a huge fan of Porsche, more specific 911's, since i was a youg kid with toy cars. This model made my jaw drop when i first saw it. Perfection in every angel. Still unreal to me.

Great video as always Roger. I have a 992 2 wheel drive cabriolet and think it's the perfect sports car - all the good things from the coupe plus the joy of open top motoring. I'm sure you'll be looking forward to trying the 992 Targa when that becomes available, but do try the full cabriolet as it's a phenomenal car.

Wow Roger, something tells me you are not a pure amateur "TH-camr" (4.9k subscribers). I hadn't noticed who uploaded the video, I just clicked it because of its title. I was pleasantly surprised and must say - great job. This will be a fun channel to be a part of. Also, this vehicle brings on a unique persona with the different lighting, angles and foreground/background the Welsh landscapes/climate draw in. As an employee of one of the largest dealers in europe i got to drive one today for fun. Feels more solid then the 991. And specially for me as a big guy there's more space.
They must have done something right as I have never given a 911 a second look, but this one gets my full attention.only criticism,exhaust note and the lady shave gear mode

Hi Mark, thanks, compared to the 991.2 variant, more grown up comes to mind, the 992 cabin more classy, they drive in a very similar way, 992 slightly quieter 991 slightly makes more road noise, they are clearly close siblings
I know the rear wheel is only an inch bigger but it looks a lot bigger at curtain angles
Really waiting for the high performance models on this new platform
Roger, I’ve bought a 992 and I’m fascinated with it. What a great everyday/sports car! And by the way, the best way to get rid of that annoying Start/Stop feature is to programe it off on the INDIVIDUAL drive mode!

Roger not all 992 are created equal this Carrera 4 does have some oddities more precisely the back end there are 3 distinctive lines that are off putting
Line 1 The exhaust and lic plate clearly separate not flowing
Line 2 What I call the beer belly just a wide vertical bump
Line 3 the tail light wing combo.
Now I’m assuming these are structural due to the all aluminum body I can live with there others little things
The 992 Turbo/S does not have the same rear end it flows much better and does not look odd.
911 991.2 TURBO S I know what you mean, there’s a lot of bulk not least that exhaust to fit in, lm driving one with the sport design package at the mo as it just do happens, there’s a picture of it on my Instagram, I think it’s improved but it’s in the eye of the beholder of course
Wonder how many new owners use all the gadgets, buttons, VDU, driving settings, 18 way seat adjustments , etc, etc? All that high tech would aim the car at younger drivers as they will be continually fiddling! Great production again!
yes the touch screen is fiddly and can be a bit frustrating

911 Which would you recommend better, Cabriole rwd or Awd? I'll use the second car. I'm not good at driving and I usually drive slowly.
with the 992 I see little benefit in getting AWD unless driving very fast on wet surfaces.
Is the standard trim an actual carbon fiber in matte or is it a different material? Would you rather have had the carbon fiber? (If price wasn't a consideration)
It's a matte carbon like material, very tough and looks good but I dont think it's actual carbon fibre, personally I dont tend to spec carbon

Simply best looking car ever.
This is likely the finest final iteration of the purely internal combustion engined 911 before the hybrid version arrives.
well 7 more years to that and it could be a NA with an electric motor.
I would say great photography, except it seems this 911 is so beautiful there are no bad angles.

I have the same 992 4s, I know you are a porsche man so can you please tell me something about the very annoying and terribly irritating steering squeaking ? I have a full video, not a big issue they will fix it but come on... a 150,000 (or more) euro car ...not to mention the vacuum cleaner sound of this car, just waiting for something after market. after all... sometimes not all that glitters is gold
hey Marco, no squeak in my drive, an after market exhaust would work, also remove a big load of weight.
