That’s true. But the people in the jigsaw traps usually have to make a sacrifice to survive. They often misinterpret what that sacrifice means - like in Saw II, when they were working against each other because they didn’t grasp that resources and tests could easily be shared. They think that only one can use the resources or beat the trap. If they’d worked together, all of them could have survived. Whereas in the Escape Room films, the contestants figure out right away that it’s impossible to do alone. Even though the idea is to have only 1 victor in the end, they cannot advance through the puzzles alone. The game makers WANT that to be obvious, because it makes for a good show to see people working together until the last second when one has to sacrifice to allow the others to advance. Like the Hunger Games… it’s all about the show. The point is to make a good show. That’s why they made the rule in 74 that TWO victors could emerge only if they were from the same district. They knew Katniss and Peeta had the best chance of survival, and by revoking the rule at the last second, they wanted to force the two of them into a vicious fight to the death. Only that didn’t work because Peeta wouldn’t kill the girl he loved, and Katniss refused to be manipulated by an unfair system or brutal dictator. But Jigsaw wasn’t interested in putting on a show for an audience. He was only invested in testing people to ensure they learned the lesson he wanted them to learn - to be braver, kinder, truthful, take responsibility, etc. That’s why X was a slight deviation from the general theme, because that was personal. Jigsaw had a personal stake in the outcome, because they screwed HIM over. Most of the time - apart from the doctor (who made the mistake with the Xray that left Jigsaw’s cancer undetected until it was too late) in number 9 who didn’t wake up in time to actually have a fair chance to save himself (so Jigsaw decided to help him and forgive the mistake) - Jigsaw had no personal stake in the game. He wants to make the world a better place in his own twisted way. He wants people to evolve and learn from bad decisions and do better. It WAS interesting that the fake doctor from X apparently figured out that John was Jigsaw. No one else (in the earlier movies) figured out who he was until he was at death’s door! Obviously that fake doctor did not tell anyone, but how did she figure out from far away what authorities IN his hometown didn’t know? Lol 😏
It’s because the game master interfered with the results of some games, kind of making their efforts to solve the puzzles pointless at times. It’s not fair
@@G0dismabestfren yup I've always loved horror and gore. My favorite genre was always horror. Strangely enough I'm not a huge fan of the hostel series which is similar.. I guess I just like the trap aspects as I do really like the Escape room series too.

The guy starts yelling and complaining about too many numbers. Then the dude on the tiles said what’s going on? Then the dude who was just yelling about numbers, tells the other dude to calm down. 😅😅😅😂😂
At best those lasers would only give you a 2nd degree burn if it hit you for a split second.. a 5 kw laser costs $100k each. Update: This guy on quora knew a guy in his department who operated a 2 kw laser. He bypassed the safety guards and in under 1 second, the laser burned through his finger and it had to be amputated. So lasers while not likely crazy powerful like here, can cut through flesh faster than I thought at lower powers.
Seems like most people forget that this is still a movie and not actual reality lol is it really hard for you people to let things be? Do you really have point out something obvious just to prove your unnecessary point?
They should revive this franchise, it's very compelling to watch how they manage to resolve the mystery For once, it's actually smart people think tanking and figuring out the solution instead of just guessing it (this is not the right example, but in other rooms they did it from start to finish)
Escape room 3 needs to Have 1. room Filling up with water 2. a Room where you are in a classroom but the room Shifts every 2 mins 3. a room where you are in a Maze but you are being chased by a wild animal 4. a Room where you have to Disarm an explosive but you first have to solve a Riddle off different parts of a wall to Disarm it ( similar to the train and the bank) 5. Final boss level where we are finally introduced to the villain behind it all
A logical thought that I was thinking too. Because the trains could easily lead to a power plant, and before the acid rain part, they are in this underground area that is eerie and industrial. I really want a 3rd
wym? The pattern of the lasers wasn't all of them. You could remember where the lasers were when he got knocked out, but, at the end of the counter, there were a lot more.
When he stepped on the title and the safe door opened, and it said money makes the world turn, don’t let it stop or it all ends, meaning at that time she was supposed to twist the safe knob, until it gave them another clue, that would have saved him, and brought them more time,it’s crazy because you can’t panic you have to focus on the tasks, and every detailed clue step by step as they open/pass through, it’s like passing through layers of hell in these rooms.🥴
You can tell they're Canadian because they didn't eat the lollipops.. Americans would have already been eating those even before they knew they needed to find the key.
Why are so many people pointing out that the lasers or acid are unrealistic... Duh it's a film. 99% of films are likely unrealistic. Honestly a realistic film would probably be dull as hell to watch
This was such a fun movie. Both of them. The lead girl is beautiful. These would make great online team video games like those Resident Evil Outbreak games
The counters left and right run along the whole floor tile laser trap thing. Why couldn't they just climb over the counters at their ends to go through the vault door?
I knew it there is a 3 biological male in this movie because its kind of weird when he shouts he's voice is soo deep I knew it the black dude with a curly hair his really a dude ♂️ man😂😂😂😂😅🤔🇵🇭🔥💪😎

Even thought the one guy got impatient, they still worked together better than the people in the Saw movies usually do.

That’s the one consistent in both of them
