I really like that Danny was genuinely impressed (or at least pleased) with Zoey finding the magnet, I liked his character a lot.
crazy to think how students could literally have all their educational debts cleared, yet actual billionaires really waste money on human traps like these since they found no other purpose in life, so bullying was their last option

What’s dumb is Danny was on the ice for like 10 seconds and the ice breaks but then the rest of the group is banging and standing on the ice and it doesn’t break
it was a controlled break, the person watching and controlling the game did it on purpose
They caused an explosion to make him fall through the ice. Just how you see the ice exploding while they were running to the door at the end. They didn't want them to use the lighter to win, wanted to see them suffer.
Danny’s death was kinda unfair .
I wouldn’t say unfair honestly, it’s definitely a feel bad moment. But! He was the only one stomping at the ice just prior!! , so he had it coming it’s only right. I wish they could’ve got him out thought Fr sure. 😢

I wonder whoever built these rooms has to have someone test it to make sure everything works.
She was a little girl and booby trapped the shower to kill her mom and then her dad discovered what she can do and created the game and trapped her in a room so she won’t escape either.
you mean in the movie universe or irl? at the end of the movie they sequel bait for the sequel they have to show that they do hire people to test out the escape rooms before siccing it on actual victims, but irl that would be fascinating. i do know they also advertised a "win a chance to do one of our escape rooms irl" giveaway when they promoted this movie :D
all of this could have been avoided if they just walked over to get the lighter, or if cigarette butthead realized his life was also on the line so this wasn’t the time to pull a deek move & toss the lighter directly on the ice
Actually it couldnt the ice broke on purpose they didn't want them to use the lighter do they broke the ice

tbh i thought that too but thinking it more thru if your hands are freezing to death you can barely do anything for real … so i can only imagine that all that grabbing gripping hitting etc HURTS!
