Hi Ally, I do enjoy all your videos. I am really love all these personal care ones. I have told a few friends who do not normally even watch TH-cam about your channel! I have to say is that I watch not only for the subject matter , but I love watching because you make me laugh. I am not laughing at you, but your sweet personality. Some other creators you can tell they likely record until they get it perfect! You -you are down to earth, show it like it is and go with the flow. I love that! Keep on bringing these awesome videos on personal care, cooking -everything! Love them! 🥰

Fun fact: vegetable glycerin penetrates deeper and is more hydrating that hyaluronic acid. Oldie but goodie.

Interesting. I’m actually allergic to hyaluronic acid. I turn beet red and burn like a mother. It’s awful!

I always felt like the glycerin was the key ingredient to this recipe.

You could also use Rose hydrosol instead of water, it not only smells great but works well for mature skin along with the frankincense!

Good morning ☀️. I live in Florida so my makeup slides off my face because of the heat and humidity. Therefore unless it’s for a special occasion I don’t wear it. I love it but it melts off my face.🙁 Will this withstand the heat?? If so this is a lifesaver. I saved it anyway to try it out. I’m going to try ALL of the recipes. Lol….menopause….. I hate it. So much more than hot flashes. Yuck. Yes, fixing spray!! That would be awesome. Tfs. Have an awesome day.🤗

I’m with you on the humidity. The only thing I have ever found to help with that an older lady from the south told me about. Put some antiperspirant on your face in really humid days to stop the slide. Weird but totally works. I use this trick on occasion and it’s the best thing ever! This spray helps but not for the super humid days.

I'm in Florida and this works for me but I also use banana powder on top of my foundation.

Excited to try this! I noticed your measurements are different then Freebie mom’s and was wondering if you you found her to be too oily? Thanks for sharing all your great recipes!!

I use Primer because it blends out pores, provides a smooth base, and helps control the natural oils from enabling the makeup to melt off the face. Sometimes, I only use primer.
I highly doubt it since this is a spray, but does this mixture accomplish these (especially smoothing pores)?

(This is my personal preference, no negative comments please.)
For good, clean make up I like Jane Iredale.
Also some SenGence. This is my 2 nd choice, since I have to go through a distributor to purchase.
Jane Iredale I purchase online or by a phone call. Also great free samples when I call in orders.
    I prefer clean beauty products.
Anyone else use these two companies? 😊

I’ve used the Jane iredale foundation before but didn’t love it. It was a little thick for me. Great ingredients.

I think I'm understanding that you adjusted the (written) recipe from what's shown in the video, since the glycerin amount was 3T for single recipe (that you doubled to 6 in video), but written says just 1T? I'm assuming this was the main change, if not plz advise~ knowing that each person may need to adjust for our own skin, of course. Just wanted to clarify that starting point. *Think I'll follow your lead on making a quarter recipe at first, to try it out, & go from there~ great tip on that btw, thanks =) Sammy

I wrote my recipe once I adjusted to my liking. I found the glycerine was slick and my makeup slid when I had more in the mix.

Your recipe is typed wrong. I checked the site and which hazel should be 2 TBS and glycerin should be 3 TBS.

    • @LittleHillHomesteadGa
      @LittleHillHomesteadGa  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

I know. I found the original recipe to be to slick to my liking. I like the adapted version better. The glycerine was too slippery in that high amount and caused the makeup to move more not less.
