Hi Marie! It’s so fun to see the evolution of your videos from when I started watching this channel several years ago. Really nice work! Congrats to you on the continued success of this fun channel!
Welcome! ❤️ Don't forget to check out my blog (humblebeeandme.com) as well-I've been blogging since 2011 while I’ve only been on TH-cam since about 2016, so there are a lot more formulations on the blog. The blog is also where my totally free ingredient encyclopedia and FAQ live, and they're both packed with tons of super-helpful information ❤️ Happy making!
You are a mind reader bc I really was going to use that silicone gel from TKB today to try to recreate my favorite (albeit overpriced) luxury primer! I heard silicon elastomer was a good add-in for the project, but I think I will actually just try making one of these instead. Thanks for sharing!
Amazing Marie - I'm so excited about your formula's for this type of product because it was number 1 on my list for the next type of product I wanted to make and I actually just ordered a week ago the very same 1st 2 ingredients to play with - so thanks heaps for making my next project so much easier! Love your work. Everyone if you aren't a Patreon please support Marie and her great work that she shares with us! :) It doesn't cost much and is so worth it.
Ooooh my!!! I love you so much!!! I wish you would dupe Dollar Shave Club Shave Butter before I do. I'm sooooo happy you did this one! I had a sample but couldn't afford the full size!
@Humblebee & Me I thought the same thing (or lotion) but I just started diving into making all this other stuff, learning ingredients, and the science behind all of this. Ican't tell you how much I appreciate your blog and encyclopedia! Thanks so much for all your hard work!
Could you possibly show us how to make Inglot Duraline? 🙏🙏🙏 (ISODODECANE, BIS-VINYL DIMETHICONE/DIMETHICONE COPOLYMER, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, PHENOXYETHANOL, HEXYLENE GLYCOL)
Great Video! I think they used cheap oil and variety of oils to keep it cheap, and if they run out of one oil they may use another without changing the labels. My opinion 🤗
Hi Marie, I'm from India and I love to watch all your videos though not practically into making any of them. But thinking of diving into making some of your simple DIY stuff. I'm more of an organic natural ingredient fan. Could you please suggest some good organic skincare online courses that are not hard on my wallet.... As when I convert dollars and pounds into Indian rupees it's real BIG money. Thanks ...
Hello, Marie! I absolutely love your formulations! You have inspired me to sign up for the classes you recommended. I love your formulations so much that I would love to add some to my product lines. I hate to "steal" another maker's formula's. Should I credit you? Or just not use your formulations at all? It's such a shame not to share them with my customers!
Hi! I'm excited + confused about the silicon gel u use and Cyclopentasiloxane Dimethiconol Silicon Belsil CM 3092 are they the same thing? i found that the cyclo dimethi... can be used for primer too but only 1-5%.. hope u see this and HELPPP hihi thank youuuuu! I'm a fannnn!🖤
Hey :) can you teach us how yo make multichrome eyeshadow please. There isn’t much content about it online and I’m not sure if it’s covered in makeup teaching books. Any recommendations? Grateful for any tips 🙏
Hi i really love your video And it inspires me lot for my own formulation and i am improving my skill on cosmetics formulation it's all thanks to you Love from me
Hi Marie👋🏻 I love to follow you and your wonderful formulations, I hear all these ingredients with crazy names I need to look up 😲😅 But quick question, do you also use synthetic ingredients?
Hi Marie! Big fan of your formulation. Just wanted to know can I use Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer in hair conditioner or hair care products....
We dont get silicone gel here. Can we use dimethicone and cyclopentasiloxane instead? The blog post doesn't mention any substitution. Awaiting for a reply
They use a lot of ingredients we can't get as small makers :/ I've shared plenty of similar-ish serums (www.humblebeeandme.com/brightening-hyaluronic-acid-niacinamide-facial-serum/), but without access to the exact ingredients they use it's hard to make something that's terribly dupe-y.
You'll find the answer to your question in the free partner blog post that's linked in the description box below the video ;) If you're not sure what that means, read this: www.humblebeeandme.com/faqs/whats-the-description-box-on-youtube/. Happy making!
I always link all the ingredients for any given formulation in the written version of the formulation in the free partner blog post, which is linked in in the written version of the formulation in the free partner blog post the description box below the video (that's one of the many reasons I highly suggest reading the blog post as well as watching the video! If you're not sure what I mean by the "description box", read this: www.humblebeeandme.com/faqs/whats-the-description-box-on-youtube/.). Sometimes those links break because they're always off-site links, or sometimes the store I've linked to isn't in your country. That's why I also have a giant page of places to shop all over the world, which you can find here: www.humblebeeandme.com/resources/. It doesn't have every country in the world, but it does contain all the online stores I know about. If your country isn't listed, that's because I don't know about any online stores in your country. You could try looking for a local Facebook group for people who like making soap & other cosmetics-they may be able to recommend places to shop.
Silicones are safe; I wouldn’t put them on my body if they weren’t. You can learn more here: labmuffin.com/silicone-mythbusting-with-video/. “Silicones are actually very safe! They haven’t been linked to cancer or hormone disruption or any other long-term health effects, and regulatory authorities around the world (Health Canada, European Union’s Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety, UK Environment Agency, Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR), Australia’s Inventory Multi-tiered Assessment and Prioritisation (IMAP)) have said that they’re not a risk to humans.” If you click the link, all of those regulatory bodies are links where you can learn more 😄
@@HumblebeeAndMe Marie, you are awesome at responding to “harmful ingredient misconception” comments that seem to pop up quite frequently in your comments sections! Each response is backed up with evidence - that you provide links to. Such a respectful, intelligent, informative, and ideal way to go about responding to those kind of messages! 👍 Particularly within the social media realm, it’s so common for things people say in videos and comment alongside, to be entirely void of fact (and often logic!). I absolutely love how your content and comments are so wholly factual. It really is a breath of fresh air to know that your content is well-researched and that you are concerned with the validity of that which you share! (I mean, I’ve never heard you SAY those things, but based on your videos and website, I don’t think it’s off-kilter to see you as someone who is concerned with objectivity and fact in the things you teach others.)
I like when you have the actual product you’re duping on your dupe videos. It makes the dupes much more accurate!
Hi Marie! It’s so fun to see the evolution of your videos from when I started watching this channel several years ago. Really nice work! Congrats to you on the continued success of this fun channel!
Thank you, Jamie! ❤️ I’ve been working really hard on making my videos better in 2022 and I’m thrilled it shows 😄
Oh my goodness, I’m so glad your acct showed up on my feed! These videos are fantastic!!

Just ordered the silicone gel ! Can't wait to recreate this! Thanks ❤
Very excited to try this out!!
Bisabolol is such a funny word - this was fun to watch!
These just seem very fun to make
Ooooh my!!! I love you so much!!! I wish you would dupe Dollar Shave Club Shave Butter before I do. I'm sooooo happy you did this one! I had a sample but couldn't afford the full size!

The shave butter looks like hair conditioner, really... and I've done quite a few of those!

Hi I LOVE all your videos and all the wonderful products you make. Can you try making a dupe of the Eve Lom cleanser or the Elemis cleansing balm?
Great Video! I think they used cheap oil and variety of oils to keep it cheap, and if they run out of one oil they may use another without changing the labels. My opinion 🤗
The silicone & packaging is expensive so that might be the case for cheap oils

Amazing Marie🥰 thank you
I love making my own skincare! Thank you ❤❤❤

Hi Li! All you need is a multichrome mica-that's the difference :)
I just shared a video on this 😉 Check it out! th-cam.com/video/JRA31R1hmiM/w-d-xo.html
Hi i really love your video
And it inspires me lot for my own formulation and i am improving my skill on cosmetics formulation it's all thanks to you

Hi, Maria. Thank you for your video. I would like to know can you add a sunscreen and/or retinol for mature skin?

She said she doesn’t recommend a substitution for the silicone gel.
You are amazing ❤
I love your videos. When can you try to make dr nassif serum???
that looks nice!
Can you make Glow recipe's serums or any of their other products ??

@@HumblebeeAndMe i understand and totally appreciate your instant reply. Love what you are doing!!!
cyclopentasiloxane can just use this?? Instand of cyclopentasiloxane dEmithicon coss polymer
Shouldn't you be using a dark bottle for the formula with vit C?
The form of vitamin C used in this formulation (TETRAHEXYLDECYL ASCORBATE) is very stable-much more stable than l-ascorbic acid :)
Where can I purchase Cyclopentasiloxane
amazing 🤩

Dimethicones are endocrine disrupters. Yikes.

I agree with you. I would dupe this with a cosmos and eco cert silicone alternative.
