    Great content!! One question...My previously LPR mother filed an i130 on my behalf in 2016 which put me, at the time, in F2B category. She has since become a USC. USCIS approved the petition in April 2020...Does her citizenship make any difference in my case, since I'm over 21....and unmarried?

    • @harshkalaria9743
      @harshkalaria9743 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Michelle M - in which month and year was your f2b petition filed? what's the status of your f2b petition case now? How far has it been processed? My f2b petition was filed on January 2019

    • @harshkalaria9743
      @harshkalaria9743 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Michelle m - u r mother will need to request for child status protection so that Ur case will continue to be processed in f2b category, which will be much faster than f1.

      @@harshkalaria9743 Original petition was filed in 2016...The case is now at the NVC level. She became a citizen in 2019 and has since sent a letter in (on November 4th of this year ), to the NVC, requesting that I be kept in the F2B category.. We haven't received a response yet

    Hi. So USCIS told me that for an unmarried child over the age of 21 years it will not count against someone who overatayed as long as they apply before overstaying/ being out of status. The fact you stated is for peopel who jave beem here for years then their parents petitions. Additonally as long as it is a UScitizen filing for an adult son they can submit both i130 and i485 concurrently as long as they are in the US and as long as it is within status it will not count against them even though by the time it is approves they will be out of status. Kindly check into it and do a video many do not know about this fact

      they said that they made an error and admitted me under a wrong category and that my petition was submitted after april 30th 2001 since i was over 21 i was suppose to be in my home country.I submitted my i94 with my i130 and they never returned it and they said that i have to wait until my priorioty date becomes current which was 7 years later i was called for an interveiew nd got my i551 stamp green card arrived a week later then a year later i was summoned to go court to face a judge then he ordered me removed then ice came some time after and arrested me had me detained and then deported to my home country for ten yearsi think immigrtaion is reviewing all the paper work

    Hi, good night thank you so much for all this info. What if the situation is the other way around. Meaning I am a green card holder since October 2019, who got through via my unmarried adult child. However, my issue is that I am stuck in my home country and I don't know what to do. I was given a year to get back to the US which will be by 2 September 2020. My intention was to get back to the US in June 2020 but because of the COVID-19 and closures of airports, I am stuck in my country. Can you tell me what I should do please?

    Just one question please.
    Can the Spouse (Husband) of a US Citizen visits the USA on their B2 visitors Visa while the I-130 is been processed?
    The application was completed and submitted via the USCIS Online Platform.
    Can I (the husband) continues to visit my Wife (US Citizen) in the US on a monthly basis until approval is granted?

    She has an immigrant visa and has to leave Grenada by 07-15-20 because of covid-19. Her flight has been changed twice in June, what could happen if she has to still wait after the 15 of July? July is when her visa expires.

I have a daughter in Nigeria which I included when filling my i485 status adjustment form and I presently have a 2yrs green card awaiting to file a I-761 to remove the conditions. Because of the ban I dont know if its I could file a I130 for my daughter then or I should just go ahead now.

    Our problem is that my eldest son is about to become 21 years old next year. Is he will not included in the petition approval, considering that she filed for my son during his still minor?.thank you in advance

    I have a case at NVC for my daughter on F 3 status, also her daughters & spouse, F31 category, until now , I’m still waiting for a welcome letter so I can begin paying the AOS fee and the visa fee. This petition took 12 years because when I filed for my daughter, she was only 19 years old, now she’s married & have kids. Her status fell from f1 to f3, now it’s almost here until this pandemic happened, so everything is on hold. Will i ever hear from NVC or will it ever forgotten?? How can I follow up on this? I am a nurse that here in the US as an immigrant from the Philippines and I’ve been here for 15 years now. I became a US citizen about 10 years ago and I have an adopted child he is turning 15 years old now and I am trying to get him here before he turned to an adult. The lawyer that helped me file for my citizenship is also helping me get him here. I’ve already applied for his petition and has been working on it for years now. The lawyer that was helping us suddenly closed his practice coz he got terminally ill. Anyway my question is will my application that was filed at that time is still valid? And where will I go from here, what’s the next step? Actually my parents who is taking care of him back in the Philippines asked me to cancel the petition that way we can apply for another visa type? Is that possible? Thanks for all the info that you are sharing and I was wondering if you could help us me and son with our situation.Thank you again and have a blessed evening.

      I think you can file n600 for your son, adopted or born. you can get him citizenship even if he is not here. And he should come without any problem...
