I've been facing hip joint pain from last 20-25 days and hip joint X-ray is perfectly fine. Also after MRI it got discovered that its Avascular Necrosis type 1.

Sir im 29 and i went through core decompression with bone marrow therapy in Bangalore Sakra hospital, on both the hips in 2018, after two years i am able to walk normally i get pain at time but otherwise i can manage but i am looking for advancements in this area on a frequent basis as i am sure i will have to go through a total hip replacement on both the sides some or the other day which i want to avoid. I have AVN in my both hip femoral heads but more painful at this stage in the left hip. My consulting orthopaedic consultant advised me to have total hip replacement. No doctor will give you a written assurance that this will work - may be this can delay the progression if push comes to shove. This is one of those diseases which have a direct correlation with our destiny. I was diagnosed with bilateral hip AVN - stage 3 left stage 2 right in Nov 21 - underwent core decompression in Dec 21 with PRP / BMAP. All I can say is there's a little improvement but I am intermittently in a lot of pain. Movements are very restricted, very evident limping, cannot sit freely, can't wear socks / shoes, intermittent dependence on analgesics (Paracetamol 500 is the only thing I take when the pain becomes unbearable). I'm 32 and the only reason my doctor is delaying THR is because he is willing to do everything possible to stop the progression. I have been on Terifrac 8 units s/c injection daily, I take Olimab / Prolia every 6 months, taking calcium, multivitamins & cartilage building medicines daily but nothing seems to address this problem.
