Doctor if you have not read about traditional medicine you dont have any right to comment good or bad in that context.Do you know which ayurveda medicine causes AVN? Wrong dosage,selection of any drug can cause various adverse effects.So a good doctor should always respect all systems of medicine recognised by Govt of India.

@@vickys4716 no I have hip osteoarthritis and i am okay with some other treatment but I know two avn patient who have taken shockwave treatment and are fine now ,one have done in 2012 and one have done in 2017

Are corticoides the type of steroids that you are talking about? I have been taking Dexamethasone and Declofenac without knowing. I was talking a muscle pain reliever supplement that contains those two ingredients but, the company did not disclose to the public that they have added Dexamethasone and Declofenac . Whe the food and drug administration made a public warning about the findings of these two ingredients in that supplement, I stopped taking that supplement and to my horror I started feeling a terrible pain on both hips,knees, elbows , and pretty much in all my bones but, the pain in the hips are the most intense... thanks for your advice in advance ... 🙏

I was suffered with AVN in January 2019 but AVN was controled naturally, because my first Xry and MRI and the latest Xry and MRI reports shows the same condition of femoral head of hip joint but the demaged bone still causing a pain..... Can it be treated without surgery?

I've been facing hip joint pain from last 20-25 days and hip joint X-ray is perfectly fine. Also after MRI it got discovered that its Avascular Necrosis type 1.

I was hoping for steroid injections in order to at least attenuate the pain in my pelvic region which, ovet the past year, has extended down both lower extremities but particularly in the left.
After a Clinician saw my x-Ray scans he informed me that I was `way beyond the help of steroids` and that I should need a hip replacement.
That was at the beginning of this year ( 2023 ). I have finally been able to see a chap at a private hospital who informed me that the NHS rarely funds a double hip replacement but only one at a time. However, he ( he said ) would recommend to those who nod and wink that - given the wretched state I am in - I should have both my left and right articulations in my pelvis replaced at once in the same time.
Those in charge of the cash - flow agreed. Therefore I get stuffed with things I`ve never been stuffed with before on October the 20th this year. At no immediate cost to me of course since I live in England. It would be even cheaper if I lived in Wales or Scotland.
