If I am honest, I am very guilty of being quiet about my faith and there are lots of opportunities where I ought to have said something but remained silent (either about salvation or maybe defending what's right and good) and so don't experience as much persecution as I ought - which is an unusual thing to say! I have prayed about this and thinking about it now it could be somewhat the fear of persecution that hinders me But then I also must remember that I have freedoms that other Christians don't around the world so must remember to pray for them. I also believe this world will become less tolerant and more hostile towards Christians even in the countries such as mine
I understand your perspective as I, too, live in a country that is pretty tolerant and so I don’t really fear persecution but things can change, as you say. 🙏🙏🙏
