Please reconsider the decision to cut the stock fenders. Stock parts in great condition are getting harder to find. If you really want to cut some fenders, just buy some aftermarket fenders and call it a day. You're going to wrap the thing anyway.

You can get s2000 parts directly from Honda and there's actual jdm parts resellers that have stock ... have you ever seen anyone struggling to get jdm doors fenders or hoods.. nahhh yes it's pricey but if you want it you'll pay for it

Tip from an S2K owner from cali! Check the coolant reservoir for any damage! Mine collapsed on itself after dry rotting over the years!

+1 for this. The reservoir cap on mine had nearly invisible spider cracks, and still shot coolant all over the engine bay during a track session last summer.

Not sure if you guys have it already or not but just a heads up, Buy oem hardtop strikers and latches for the hardtop. Gets you a better seal and less wind noice. Can’t wait to see it done!

I love that you guys leave the stuff you mess up in you videos. “Show were the diffuser goes. Oops wrong way. Tries again also wrong.” It really shows that it doesn’t matter if you just started working on cars or have been doing it your entire life, you make mistakes. Was doing a DE at ACS around the time the AP2 came out. Someone was running the press car and wiped out in turn 9. Beautiful car, sounded good and looked hot in Formula Red!

You guys forgot to RTV the edge of the cylinder head where the head gasket and timing chain cover meet and on the timing cover around where the idle pulley bolt goes in. The later is more likely to leak.

The length of the hood, be careful with hood props. You may want to add a small section of added rigidity where it attaches to the hood. It's nothing about the user, it's about the wind.... (maybe a place like Glen Willow or Willow Springs, where the wind gets to 40-60mph often, checking the shock dampening quick and wind snaps hood over the dampener...)

I have an EF Civic Hatch that I need to start working on. I got it from my best friend that past away back in 2017.
It's a white 1990 Civic EF Si with 140k original miles on a D16 motor. 5 speed. He always wanted a white EF with

If not using a aftermarket flywheel with that clutch kit using a oem AP1 flywheel is a big change and commonly done upgrade on the ap2

This carb legal turbo kit is very interesting, looking forward to the results. What did catch my eye was the inlet pipe that was welded on the cold side turbo. Just wish the welds were show level given the price of the kit.

I'm an arm amputee and it kills me seeing these amazing manual transmissions cars always in giveaways. I'd love to enter sometime even though the chance is low, but I'd never be able to drive it.
