How resistant to rot and diseases will the plant grown from a cutting be compared to a grafted specimen?

I'm thinking there's a market for cutting grown cultivars that are common to bonsai.

Hey I just bought a amber ghost and it looks like normal green Japanese maple. It doesn't have any vaining at all. Do they look like regular green Japanese maple around this time?

It should always have some reticulation as far as I have seen even in shade. Where did you get it? It may be mislabeled.
